Basically what you need to do is add up the expressions, 7x and 3x and make it equal to 90 degrees. Then solve for x. Substitute the value of x for each expression to determine the values of each angle.

7x + 3x = 90
10x = 90
X = 90/10
X = 9.

Angle 1 = 7(9) = 63 degrees
Angle 2 = 3(9) = 27 degrees.

Check
63 + 27 = 90
90 = 90.

Limit question: lim x-->pi ((e^sinx)-1)/(x-pi)
aleksandr82 [10.1K]
\displaystyle\lim_{x\to\pi}\dfrac{e^{\sin x}-1}{x-\pi}

Notice that if f(x)=e^{\sin x}, then f(\pi)=e^{\sin\pi}=e^0=1. Recall the definition of the derivative of a function f(x) at a point x=c:

f'(c):=\displaystyle\lim_{x\to c}\frac{f(x)-f(c)}{x-c}

So the value of this limit is exactly the value of the derivative of f(x)=e^{\sin x} at x=\pi.

You have

f'(x)=\cos x\,e^{\sin x}\implies f'(\pi)=\cos\pi\,e^{\sin\pi}=-1

Please answer this correctly
nikklg [1K]

Answer:

63.59

Step-by-step explanation:

If the perimeter is 32.13, that means it is equal to

2r + 2πr/4 = 32.13

Solving this for r we get 9

Now, we can find the area, which is 3.14*r^2 / 4. Assuming pi to be 3.14 again, we get 63.585. Rounding this to the nearest hundredth, we get 63.59

How can you tell whether a counting problem is a permutation or combination problem? Give examples to support your answer
dolphi86 [110]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Permutation is the ways in which a fixed group or members that can be arranged or ordered and combinations are used when a smaller group has to be chosen from a larger group.

Examples:

<u>Permutation: </u>How many unique combinations of the word MAHNOOR can be formed when the letters will be scrambled

2. In what order or arrangements five people can be seated in the front row?

The number of people are fixed, we have to find the order.

<u>Combination:</u> Choosing two cards from a deck of 52 cards. We are choosing a small group from a larger group of all cards.

2. Choosing 4 students from a class to take part in the competition.

The selection can be made in multiple ways ..
