The metal could make an excellent material for cookware because it has a low specific heat. Specific heat is defined as the amount of energy required to raise the temperature of a body per unit mass. A low specific heat means less energy is required to get the cookware hot. In cookware the actual cooking part is designed to have low specific heat and the handles made to have high specific heat. The high specific heat at the handles ensures safety since it would take more time for the handles to get hot.

Oxygen and hydrogen are most likely to form what type of bond?
tekilochka [14]
Oxygen and Hydrogen would most likely form a covalent bond that is polar, or a polar covalent bond. Due to the electronegativity difference between the 2 elements, unequal sharing of the valence electrons will occur, electrons being in closer proximity to Oxygen and farther away from Hydrogen. Resulting in the characteristic partial positive and negative charges to appear for the respective elements.

given the following hypothetical reaction 2E(g)+ F(g)+O(g)_products.if the rate law is rate _K(e)^2(f)^-1,what is the order of t
Yuliya22 [10]

Answer:

See explanation.

Explanation:

Hello there!

In this case, considering the given information, it is not possible to figure out such order of reaction with respect to water as it is not involved in the given chemical reaction:

2E(g)+ F(g)+O(g)_

However, we can say that the order of reaction is 2 with respect to E (power of 2 in the rate law), 1 with respect to F (power of 1 in the rate law) and 0 with respect to O (power of 0 or not present in the rate law).

Regards!
