Yes, I believe it is a effective strategy because the consumer may be interested in the product and the company has it at its disposal. 1. I believe phase four which is prototype and marketing development is the most important because anybody can come up with an idea but actually creating it and making it a product is the tough part. 2. How important do you think focus groups are to the eventual success of a new product? I don’t think they are extremely important but I believe it gives the company a good idea of what the consumers may think about the product
