Answer:

Explanation:

1. The law that best illustrate this is Newton's first law of motion, which is also called the law of inertia

The law states that every object will continue in the sate of rest or in uniform motion except it is acted upon by an external force. The bike stop moving because it hits a curb.

Inertia: This is the reluctance or the tendency for a body to be in its state of rest or uniform motion.

And Maya is thrown into the air due to it inertia.

2. The Law that best illustrate this is Newton's  Third law of motion.

This law states that to every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

As the bird uses his wind to push air downward, air pushes upward on the bird allows it to fly. the upward and downward movement of air are both equal but opposite reaction.

3. The Law that illustrate this is Newton's second law of motion.

This law can be summarize as force is directly proportional to mass and acceleration.

Because the mass of the second box is smaller than the first box that was why its accelerate at a greater rate.

Cual es la energía cinética de un objeto cuya masa es de 2kg y se mueve a una velocidad de 5 m/s2 * a)10 J b)25 J c)50J d)98J
Advocard [28]
Let the mass be m
v = 5m/s
K.E = 25 J
K.E = 1/2 mv^2
25 = 1/2 m (5)^2
25 x 2 = 25m
m = 2 kg
Now if the velocity becomes 3 times then the velocity is 3 x 5 = 15m/S
Now new K.E = 1/2 x 2 x 15^2
= 225 J

The force of friction acting on a sliding crate is 223 N.
lozanna [386]

Answer:

Friction Opposes Motion of an Object.

Now

To get the Net force that Moves an Object and causes acceleration....You subtract the Frictional force

Net force = Pushing Force - Frictional Force

Recall

Net Force; F=Ma

Ma = P - Fr

Now the question asked for How Much force Must be applied to Maintain a Constant velocity.

In a Constant Velocity Motion... Acceleration do not change... Its Zero

So Putting this into the formula above

M(0) = P - Fr

0=P - Fr

Fr = P.

This means

That The force needed to keep this object Moving at Constant Velocity Must be equal to its Frictional Force

Since Frictional Force; Fr =223N

The Applied Force(Pushing Force) Must be equal to 223N too.

An object moving due to gravity can be described by the motion equation y=y0+v0t−12gt2, where t is time, y is the height at tha
Lynna [10]

Answer: 6.45 s

Explanation:

We have the following equation:

y=y_{o}+V_{o}t-\frac{1}{2}gt^{2} (1)

Where:

y=0 is the height when the rock hits the ground

y_{o}=75 m the height at the edge of the cilff

V_{o}=20 m/s the initial velocity

g=9.8 m/s^{2} acceleration due gravity

t time

0=75 m+(20 m/s)t-(4.9 m/s^{2})t^{2}  (2)

Rearranging the equation:

-(4.9 m/s^{2})t^{2} + (20 m/s)t + 75 m=0 (3)

At this point we have a quadratic equation of the form at^{2}+bt+c=0, and we have to use the quadratic formula if we want to find  t:

t=\frac{-b\pm\sqrt{b^{2}-4ac}}{2a}  (4)

Where a=-4.9, b=20, c=75

Substituting the known values and choosing the positive result of the equation:

t=\frac{-20\pm\sqrt{20^{2}-4(-4.9)(75)}}{2(-4.9)}  (5)

t=6.453 s  This is the time it takes to the rock to hit the ground
