Answer:

θ = 225 rad

Explanation:

given data

angle = 25 rad

to find out

angular velocity after 3t?

solution

let angular acceleration α in t

θ = ω × t + 0.5 × α × t²        ........................1

here ω  = 0 (initial velocity )

so put this value here

25 = 0 + 0.5 × α × t²             ..........................2

α = 25 ÷ (0.5 t²)

α = 50 ÷ t²                            .........................3

now here we take in 3t

θ = ω × 3t + 0.5 × α × (3t)²

for ω  = 0

θ = 0 + 0.5 × α × 9t²

now put value in eq 2

so

θ = (0.5) ×  (50 ÷ t²) ×  (3t)²

θ = 25 × 9

θ = 225 rad

A revolving searchlight on an island 6 miles from shore turns at the rate of 2 revolutions per minute in the clockwise direction
Molodets [167]

Answer:

 Revolving velocity = 2 km/s

Explanation:

Velocity of circular motion = Radius x Angular velocity.

Angular velocity, ω = 2πf, where f is the frequency of circular motion.

Here frequency, f = 2 revolutions per minute

                     f = \frac{2}{60} =0.033revolutions per second.

Angular velocity, ω = 2πf = 0.209 radians/second.

Radius = 6 miles = 6 x 1.6 x 10³ = 9.6 x 10³ m.

Linear velocity =  9.6 x 10³ x 0.209 = 2006.4 m/s= 2 km/s

Revolving velocity = 2 km/s

A truck is traveling horizontally to the right. When the truck starts to slow down, the crate on the (frictionless) truck bed st
iragen [17]

To solve this problem it is necessary to apply Newton's first law which warns that every body remains in continuous motion or at rest until an external force acts on it.

From the statement it is said that there is no friction on the crate, then the sum of forces in the horizontal direction will be zero. Here as the truck is slowing down, there is not net horizontal force on the crate, it means that the crate is at rest.

The correct answer is e. No direction. The net force is zero.
