Answer:

D. Select fresh, small flowers that will match the décor

Explanation:

  • This question would probably fall under Floral Design instead of Physics, but selecting these small flowers can help create a better visual look and floral design overall.

A 60kg student is sitting in a chair and is not moving. what is the force of a student acting on the chair? what is the force of
vazorg [7]

The force with which the student is acting in the chair and the force of the chair acting on the student is 588 N

Explanation:

  • There are two kinds of forces acting on you when you are sitting on the chair, they are the gravitational force and the force exerted by the chair on you.
  • The forces acting on the chair when you are sitting are the gravitational force and the force exerted by you.
  • As per  Newton's third law of motion, for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
  • Hence, F = ma

        that is, F = 60 * 9.8

                       =588 N

  • So, 588 N force should be applied from both sides then only you can sit properly in the chair.

What percentage of the power of the battery is dissipated across the internal resistance and hence is not available to the bulb?
spin [16.1K]

Lets us consider an example:

Suppose a 10 ohm bulb is connected across the terminals of a 10 V

battery having 2ohm internal resistance.

Then total reistance in series we know, R1 + R2

Thus, R net = 10+ 2 = 12 ohm

The, current across circuit = 10/12= 0.833 A

Now, Power is given by P = i^{2} R \\ \\

Thus, power dissipated across internal resistance, P = 0.83^{2} * 2 = 1.37 Watt

And, total power dissipated =0.83^{2} * 12 = 8.2 watt

Thsu, percentage of pwer not avaible = 1.37/8.2 = 16.70%

Why can the internal resistance of the DMM can be determined without taking into account the 100 Ω resistor? Could this be done
tester [92]

Answer:

Explanation:

For resistances in parallel we know that the overall resistance will be smaller in the value than any individual resistance. so, in this case we are concerned about \frac{1}{R} = \frac{1}{Rs} ⁺ \frac{1}{Rp}

where Rs is the series resistor and Rp is the parallel resistor.

so, R = 0.9M, roughly.

So, as the infernal resistance is very high as compared to the resistance conntected in parallel that is 100 Ω is not be used.

A hunter is practicing hitting a target that is down range. If the arrow leaves the bow at a velocity of 30ms at an angle of 40°
Flauer [41]

Answer:

Explanation:

range of projectile = u² sin2θ / g

u = 30 m /s

θ = 40°

range = 30² x sin 80 / 9.8

= 90.44 m

b )

maximum altitude H = u² sin²θ / 2 x g

= 30² sin²40 / 9.8

= 37.94 m .
