Answer:

Mitosis

Explanation:

Mitosis is the process of cell division. both daughter cells that come out of mitosis are duplicates of eachother. the chromosomes split so each cell has the same amount as the parent cell. thus, the chromosomes do not double.

41) a particular triplet of bases in the template strand of dna is 5' agt 3'. the corresponding codon for the mrna transcribed i
KiRa [710]

A particular triplet of bases in the template strand of DNA is 5' agt 3'. the corresponding codon for the mRNA transcribed is<u> 3' UCA 5'</u>

<u></u>

It serves as a link between DNA's genetic code and proteins' amino acid sequences.

The codons in the messenger RNA (mRNA) are complementary to the nucleotide sequence on the DNA template strand.

Then it controls the synthesis of amino acids with the aid of tRNA and ribosomes.

Its name, messenger RNA, refers to the fact that it carries genetic information. The single strands of adenine, cytosine, guanine, and uracil that make up the mRNA molecule are held together by a sugar phosphate backbone.

Two codons: His, Lys, Phe, Tyr, Asn, Asp, Cys, Gln, Glu, Codons Ile, STOP, and three ("nonsense"). Ala, Gly, Pro, Thr, and Val are the four codons. None of the five codons.

What adaptation do seed plants have in addition to the seed that is not found in seedless plants?
tatiyna

Answer:

The correct answer will be option-pollen.

Explanation:

The pollen are the male gametophyte which is produced in the seed plants.

The pollen produce male gametes after entering the female gametophyte. The male gametes fuse with the egg cell and form the embryo inside ovary which matures and forms seeds.  The vascular seed plants lack these pollen but instead produces male gametes in gametangia which are replaced by the pollen in the seed plants.

Thus, option-pollen is the correct answer.

A cell membrane pump helps human cells to maintain a relatively constant sodium and potassium  concentration.

<u>Option: A</u>

<u>Explanation:</u>

Sodium potassium pump is a plasma membrane protein that utilizes energy ATP — Triphosphate Adenosine turning into ADP — Adenosine Diphosphate to deliver intracellular and extracellular sodium (NA+) and potassium (K+) ions sequentially. The purpose of this entire mechanism is to preserve cell equilibrium.

The extracellular medium has a greater concentration of Na while the K concentration of the intracellular fluid is lower. Proteins trap sodium ions in the cytoplasm and pump them out from the cells to preserve cell stability while preserving concentrations. Within the cells proteins inject potassium ions into the cell.

How did the extinction of the Dodo bird impact society?
Ksenya-84 [330]

It’s commonly believed that the dodo went extinct because Dutch sailors ate the beast to extinction after finding that the bird was incredibly easy to catch due to the fact it had no fear of humans, (why it didn’t fear the creature many times its size is a mystery for another day). This is, for the for the most part, pretty accurate. It is noted that after sailors landed and settled on the island in 1598,  the dodo’s population rapidly declined and other sources confirm that the dodo was indeed hunted by sailors looking for an easy snack, since the dodo’s ungainly gait and lack of a third axis of movement made it relatively easy to catch.
