Answer:

The value is \theta _2 =  0.08 \ arcsec

Explanation:

From the question we are told that

   The first wavelength is  \lambda_1 =  660 \ nm  = 660 *10^{-9 }

   The  first angular size is  \theta_1 = 0.04 \ arcsec

    The second wavelength is  \lambda _2 =  1320 \  nm  =  1320 *10^{-9 } \  m

Generally according to  Rayleigh Criterion we have that

          \theta=  1.22 *  \frac{\lambda }{D}

given every other thing remains constant we have that

         \theta =  k *  \lambda

Here k  represented constant so

         k  =  \frac{\theta }{\lambda}

=>      \frac{\theta_1}{ \lambda_1}  =  \frac{\theta_2}{ \lambda_2}

=>      \frac{\theta_1}{ \theta_2}  =  \frac{\lambda_1}{ \lambda_2}

So

        \frac{ 0.04}{ \theta_2}  =0.5

=>     \theta _2 =  0.08 \ arcsec

If a car is taveling with a speed 6 and comes to a curve in a flat road with radius ???? 13.5 m, what is the minumum value the c
Lemur [1.5K]

Answer:

\mu_s \geq 0.27

Explanation:

The centripetal force acting on the car must be equal to mv²/R, where m is the mass of the car, v its speed and R the radius of the curve. Since the only force acting on the car that is in the direction of the center of the circle is the frictional force, we have by the Newton's Second Law:

f_s=\frac{mv^{2}}{R}

But we know that:

f_s\leq \mu_s N

And the normal force is given by the sum of the forces in the vertical direction:

N-mg=0 \implies N=mg

Finally, we have:

f_s=\frac{mv^{2}}{R}  \leq \mu_s mg\\\\\implies \mu_s\geq \frac{v^{2}}{gR}  \\\\\mu_s\geq \frac{(6\frac{m}{s}) ^{2}}{(9.8\frac{m}{s^{2}})(13.5m) }\\\\\mu_s\geq0.27

So, the minimum value for the coefficient of friction is 0.27.

a force is something that causes change in motion . what provides the force that made the cart speed up brainly/
Maurinko [17]

Answer:

the unbalanced force

Explanation:

An unbalance forces are defined as the forces which causes a change in the speed or velocity of a moving object. A force causes a change in the motion of a body and an unbalanced force causes the body to change its velocity and speed or a change in its direction.

An unbalanced force will start movement in a static object or it can cause to speed up the moving object or it can cause to stop the moving object.

Thus an unbalanced force causes the cart to speed up.

A sound wave travels twice as far in neon (Ne) as it does it krypton (Kr) in the same time interval. Both neon and krypton can b
avanturin [10]

Answer:

281.6 K

Explanation:

The speed of sound in an ideal gas is given by c = √(γKT/m).

From the question speed of sound in Ne, c₁ = 2c₂ speed of sound in Kr

c₁ = √(γKT₁/m₁) and c₂ = √(γKT₂/m₂)

So  √(γKT₁/m₁)  = 2√(γKT₂/m₂) where T₁, m₁ and T₂, m₂ are the temperatures and atomic masses of Neon and Krypton respectively.

So, √(T₁/m₁)  = 2√(T₂/m₂)

(T₁/m₁)  = 4(T₂/m₂) (squaring both sides)

T₁ = 4(T₂m₁/m₂)

Given that m₁ = 20.2 u , m₂ = 83.8 u, T₂ = 292 K

T₁ = 4(292 × 20.2/83.8) K = 23593.6/83.8 = 281.55 K ≅ 281.6 K
