Well first of you need to know that on a straight line there should be 180 degrees. Also a triangle has 180 degrees in total. Now if this is to scale then you can always measure the angle BCA and explain how you took that away from 180 to get whatever. Assuming otherwise i don't know how one can actually complete this question without any measurements, at least one and it would be something anyone can complete. Even if you didn't have anything it should be a equilateral triangle or isosceles. That way you can work out the inside sides than the exterior. But since it's not, I'm not to sure.

Consider a regular pyramid A with a square base and a right circular cone B.
Angelina_Jolie [31]

Answer:

Pyramid

Step-by-step explanation:

\text{Volume of a Square Pyramid }=\frac{1}{3} \times l^2 \times Height\\\\ \text{Volume of a Cone }=\frac{1}{3} \pi r^2 \times Height

Given that the two solids have the same volume

\frac{1}{3} \times l^2 \times Height=\frac{1}{3} \pi r^2 \times Height

If the length of a side of the square base of pyramid A is the same as the base radius of cone B. i.e l=r

\frac{1}{3} \times l^2 \times $Height of Pyramid=$\frac{1}{3} \pi l^2 \times $Height of cone$\\\\$Cancel out $ \frac{1}{3} \times l^2$ on both sides\\\\Height of Pyramid= \pi  \times $ Height of cone$

If the height of the cone is 1

H$eight of Pyramid= \pi  \times 1 \approx 3.14$ units

Therefore, the pyramid has a greater height.

Find an equation of the line that (a) has y-intercept of -8 and (b) is parallel to the line 6 x − 1 y = 7 6x-1y=7 . Write your a
faust18 [17]

Answer:

The equation of the line in the slope-intercept form is:

\:y=6x-8

Step-by-step explanation:

The slope-intercept form of the equation of a line is

y\:=\:mx\:+\:b

As y intercept is -8, we have

y\:=\:mx\:-8

Since the line is parallel to 6x-y=7, then it has the same slope.

Let's put this equation in y\:=\:mx\:+\:b  form and find the slope

6x-y=7

y=6x-7

Thus, the slope is :

m = 6

Now we can finish the equation of the line in the slope-intercept form

y\:=\:mx\:+\:b

\:y=6x-8           ∵ m = 6, b = -8

Therefore, the equation of the line in the slope-intercept form is:

\:y=6x-8
