Write three nuclear equations to represent the nuclear decay sequence that begins with the alpha decay of u-235 followed by a be
vazorg [7]

Answer:

We know that in the decay process the sum of molecular number as well as molecular weight should be constant.

The following three reaction are as follows

1 .

Alpha decay  of parent nuclide

_{92}^{235}\textrm{U} \rightarrow _{90}^{231}\textrm{Th}+_{2}^{4}\textrm{alpha }

The molecular number of alpha particle is 2 and molecular weight is 4 g/mol.

2.

Beta decay of daughter nuclide

_{90}^{231}\textrm{Th}\rightarrow _{91}^{231}\textrm{Pa}+_{-1}^{0}\textrm{beta}+v

v is the neutrino emission,The charge on the beta particle is zero.

3.

Alpha decay

_{91}^{231}\textrm{Pa}\rightarrow_{89}^{227}\textrm{Pa}+_{2}^{4}\textrm{alpha}

What is Pressure ? Explain well
Andreyy89

Hi Pupil Here's Your Answer ::

➡➡➡➡➡➡➡➡➡➡➡➡➡

Pressure is defined as the force acting perpendicular on an unit area of the surface.

OR

The thrust per unit area is called Pressure.

let us see, on what factors the pressure depends?

Take a pin having a pointed end and a nail having blunt end. Press then against a cardboard by applying the same force. We find that the pin penetrates deep into the cardboard then the nail. In this case, force acting on two points of the cardboard is same but the area under the tip of the Pin is less than under the tip of the nail.

The effect of the forces of the scene magnitudes on the different area is different.

Conclusions : Pressure acting on the surface is inversely proportional to the area of the surface on which force acts.

Most galaxies in the Universe are moving towards the Earth. True or False.
Morgarella [4.7K]

That's false.

There are billions of galaxies in the universe. A few of the nearest ones are moving TOWARD us, and ALL the rest are moving AWAY from us.

The farther a galaxy is from us now, the faster it's moving farther away.

A kilogram is a unit of mass and when multiplied by meters per second
amm1812

Answer:

it yields a derived unit known as Newton, which is the unit of Force.

Explanation:

The formula for force is given by Newton's Second Law, which states that whenever an unbalanced force is applied to a body, it produces an acceleration in the body in the direction of force.

F = ma\\

where, F = Force

m = mass

a = acceleration

Now, we substitute the respective S.I units of each quantity in equation:

F = Newton (N)

m = kilogram (kg)

a = acceleration = m/s²

Therefore,

N = (kg)(m/s^2)

So, it is clear from above expression that:

<u>When kilogram is multiplied by meter per second squared, it yields a derived unit known as Newton, which is the unit of Force.</u>
