The first step in the digestive process happens before we even taste food. Just by smelling that homemade apple pie or thinking about how delicious that ripe tomato is going to be, you start salivating — and the digestive process begins in preparation for that first bite.

Almost all animals have a tube-type digestive system in which food:

enters the mouth

passes through a long tube

exits the body as feces (poop) through the anus

Along the way, food is broken down into tiny molecules so that the body can absorb nutrients it needs:

Protein must be broken down into amino acids.

Starches break down into simple sugars.

Fats break down into into fatty acids and glycerol.

A solution of hydrocloric acid has a molarity of 2.25 M HCl. If a reaction requires 5.80 g of HCI, what
Natali [406]

Answer:

0.071L

Explanation:

From the question given, we obtained the following data:

Molarity of HCl = 2.25 M

Mass of HCl = 5.80g

Molar Mass of HCl = 36.45g/mol

Number of mole of HCl =?

Number of mole = Mass /Molar Mass

Number of mole of HCl = 5.8/36.45 = 0.159mole

Now, we can obtain the volume required as follows:

Molarity = mole /Volume

Volume = mole /Molarity

Volume = 0.159mole/ 2.25

Volume = 0.071L

Is barium nitrate more soluble in water than CH4 or the other way around?
kenny6666 [7]
Barium nitrate and methane (CH4) are both soluble. They both will dissolve in water, however, barium nitrate will dissociate becoming barium 2+ ions and nitrate becoming NO3 1- ions. All nitrates are soluble and dissociate. CH4 is a weak base and does dissolves but doesn't dissociate. So in solubility terms.... they are both equally soluble just one happens to dissociate into its cations and anions. Hope this helps!

Zinc reacts with aqueous sulfuric acid to form hydrogen gas: zn(s) h2so4(aq) ? znso4(aq) h2(g) in an experiment, 201 ml of wet h
WINSTONCH [101]
The products of reaction are ZnSO4 and H2. Since ZnSO4 is in aqueous form (aq), therefore only H2 and water vapor contributes to the overall total pressure in the system.
Total Pressure = 764 torr = H2 partial pressure + Water partial pressure
Since Water partial pressure is 26.74 torr so,
H2 partial pressure = 737.26 torr = 0.97 atm
