Explanation:

Given that,

Two resistors of 10 ohms and 15 ohms are connected.

In series combination, the equivalent resistance is given by :

R_s=R_1+R_2\\\\R_s=10+15\\\\R_s=25\ \Omega

In parallel combination, the equivalent resistance is given by :

\dfrac{1}{R_p}=\dfrac{1}{R_1}+\dfrac{1}{R_2}\\\\\dfrac{1}{R_p}=\dfrac{1}{10}+\dfrac{1}{15}\\\\R_p=6\ \Omega

Hence, this is the required solution.

Why are many mitochondria needed in cells that move, like muscle cells?
Deffense [45]
Muscle cells have to use a lot of energy and the Mitochondria is known as the "power house" of the cell... I would say the number of mitochondria needed is increased because more power and energy is being used in that cell than a normal one (idk if this helps or if that's the answer you were looking for)

Distinguish between basic and derived units
alex41 [277]

Answer:

Base units are defined units based on specific objects or events in the physical world. Derived units are defined by combining base units.

Base units are defined by a particular process of measuring a base quantity whereas derived units are defined as algebraic combinations of base units. For example, length is a base quantity in both SI and the English system, but the meter is a base unit in the SI system only.

According to the graph above, how large of a force is needed in order to stretch the string 1.00 meters?
gulaghasi [49]

My guess for this one would be; 400 N

My reasoning would be; it starts at 0 on both X and Y, if you need to get to 1.00 meters thats 4/4. 1/4 of 1.00 is .25, and on .25 its on 100 so multiply it by 4 to make 1.00 and you get 400 N
