Which property of electromagnetic waves must go down as the frequency goes up?

Physics

Answer:

Wavelength

Explanation:

Velocity of a wave is given by

v=f\lambda

where

f = Frequency of wave = f=\dfrac{v}{\lambda}

\lambda = Wavelength of wave

We have the relation

f\propto \dfrac{1}{\lambda}

Now, velocity of the wave in a given medium remains constant. So, if the frequency increases the wavelength must decrease in order to keep the velocity of the wave constant. Also if the frequency decreases the the wavelength increases.

If u have a box with mass of 10kg and u push with a force of 200 N what is the acceleration of the box ?
AnnZ [28]

Answer:

20m/s²

Explanation:

force = mass*acceleration

acceleration = force ÷ mass

acceleration = 200N ÷ 10kg

acceleration = 20m/s²

As you found out in the previous part, bernoulli's equation tells us that a fluid element that flows through a flow tube with de
8090 [49]
This causes the fluid to increase its speed. Bernoulli's principle tells us that an increase in the speed of a fluid happens at the same time with a reduction in pressure or a reduction in the fluid's potential energy. This necessitates that the amount of kinetic energy, potential energy and internal energy stays persistent.

What is the acceleration of a boy on a skateboard if the net force on the boy is 15 N? The total mass of the boy and the skatebo
Stels [109]
                                 Force = (mass) x (acceleration)

If the full 15N is pointing parallel to the ground,
then

                                   15 N  =  (58 kg) x (acceleration).

Divide each side
by  58 kg:                   Acceleration = 15 N / 58 kg

                                                         = (15 kg-m/s²) / (58 kg)

                                                         = (15/58) (kg-m/kg-s²)

                                                         =  0.26 m/s² .

A box is held at rest by two ropes that form 30° angles with the vertical. The tension T in either rope is 42 N. What is the wei
Kipish [7]

Answer:

w = 73 N

Explanation:

Since the box is held by the ropes it means that the resulting tension is equal to the weight of the box

T_res = w

Now, the resulting tension is a combination of the tension of each rope.

Since we want to find the vertical component we must multiply by the cosine of 30 degrees the value of T

T_res =  T*cos(30) + T*cos(30)

T_res = 2*(42 N)*(0.866)

T_res = 72.746 N

T_res = w = 72.746 N
