Answer:

No

Step-by-step explanation:

In a right angle triangle, based on Pythagoras theorem, the sum of the squares of the adjacent and opposite sides must equal to the square of the hypotenuse.

     The hypotenuse is the side with the longest length:

            H²  = O²  + A²

 if from the given lengths;

           H = 11, O = 9 and A = 6

Let us see if this is true;

          H²  = 9² + 6²

          H²  = 81 + 36

         H² = 117

But H², 11²  = 121 and this is not true

 The triangle is not a right angled one.

Divide. Express the quotient in simplest form.<br> x^2−x−12/2x^2÷x^2+x−6/2x^3
sertanlavr [38]
Hey there!

These are technically expressed as fraction. When you divide a fraction by another, you can replace the second fraction with its reciprocal and you can now multiply the fractions together instead.

\frac{x^2-x-12}{2x^2} /  \frac{x^2+x-6}{2x^3}

\frac{x^2-x-12}{2x^2} * \frac{2x^3}{x^2+x-6}

Now, just multiply across the top and the bottom. You can first cancel out any terms that are repeated or similar.

\frac{12}{2x^2} * \frac{2x^3}{-6}

\frac{2}{x} * \frac{1}{-1}

\frac{2}{-x}

Your answer will be \frac{2}{-x}.

Hope this helped you out! :-)

(I may give brainliest) The roof of a lean-to-garden shed has a gradient of 0.35.find the height?
UkoKoshka [18]

Answer: 2.325 meters

Step-by-step explanation:

The roof of a lean-to-garden shed has a gradient of 0.35.find the height....they have given the base as 1.5m and a shorter height 1.8m its like a house

-------

It sounds like you have a right triangle with base = 1.5,

----

Use a proportion to get:

(height of that triangle)/1.5 = 35/100

height of that triangle = 1.5*0.35 = 0.5250

-----

greater height of the lean-to = 1.8 + 0.5250 = 2.325 meters
