The question is incomplete, the complete question is;

2. How many moles of NaOH are there in a 20.0mL sample of an 0.101M solution?

3. How many grams of benzoic acid would be required to react with the NaOH

sample mention in Question 2?

Answer:

0.247 g

Explanation:

Recall that;

n =CV

n = number of moles

C = concentration

V = volume (in litres)

So;

n = 0.101 * 20/1000

n = 2.02 * 10^-3 moles

The equation of the reaction is;

C6H5COOH(s)+NaOH(aq) ---------> C6H5COO-Na+ (aq)+H2O(l)

Given that the reaction is in 1:1 molar ratio

number of moles of benzoic acid required= 2.02 * 10^-3 moles * 122.12 g/mol = 0.247 g

How many miles of a gas sample are in a 20.0 l container at 373kand 203 kpa? the gas constant is 8.31 l-kpa/m-k
ladessa [460]
To simplify our solution for this probelm we first assume that the gas we are dealing with is an ideal gas. Given that it is ideal we can proceed the solution using the formula: PV=nRT where P is pressure (203KPa), V is volume (20.0 L), n is moles (required), T is absolute temperature (373K) and R is the gas constant ( 8.31 l-kpa/m-k). Plug in the given to the respective variables and you should get 3.28 moles of the gas sample.

How does wind cause weathering?
pantera1 [17]

Hello!! WOW, what a coincidence! I just took this lesson and quiz yesterday, so the answer is still fresh in my mind!

The answer to your question is

D) Blowing sand can wear away a rock's surface and break it into smaller pieces

When wind blows, sure it can pick up dry soil and sand and relocate it, but that doesn't cause the weathering in rocks.

Wind doesn't create new landforms either, that comes from plate tectonic movements and other things.

I just eliminated B and C with the two sentences above, I really don't know how to eliminate A, just common sense i guess.

Please give me brainliest if I was correct and helpful!

Otherwise, please comment and let me know how I can fix my answer!

Thank you, it was fun, have a nice week!

What volume of silver will weigh exactly 2500 g. The density of silver is 10 g/cm3.
zysi [14]

Answer:

250 cm³

Explanation:

The volume of a substance when given the density and mass can be found by using the formula

volume = \frac{mass}{density} \\

From the question we have

volume = \frac{2500}{10} \\

Wr have the final answer as

250 cm³

Hope this helps you
