A plane is flying east when it drops some supplies to a designated target below. The supplies land after falling for 10 seconds.
Diano4ka-milaya [45]

solution:

As Given plane is flying in east direction.

It throws back some supplies to designated target.

Time taken by the supply to reach the target =10 seconds

g = Acceleration due to gravity = - 9.8 m/s²[Taken negative as object is falling Downwards]

As we have to find distance from the ground to plane which is given by d.

d = \frac{1}{2}\times g\times t^2

 = \frac{1}{2}\times (9.8) \times(100) =50\times 9.8=490 meters

Distance from the ground where supplies has to be land  to plane  =  Option B =490 meters

When a car turns a corner on a level road, which force provides the necessary centripetal acceleration?
Vinil7 [7]

Answer:

The frictional force between the tire made with the road

Explanation:

This car on level ground is moving away and turning to the left. The centripetal force causing the car to turn in a circular path is due to friction between the tires and the road. A minimum coefficient of friction is needed, or the car will move in a larger-radius curve and leave the roadway.

Which equations could be used as is, or rearranged to calculate for frequency of a wave? Check all that apply.
amm1812
-- Equations  #2  and  #6  are both the same equation,
and are both correct.

-- If you divide each side by  'wavelength', you get Equation #4,
which is also correct.

-- If you divide each side by  'frequency', you get Equation #3,
which is also correct.
With some work, you can rearrange this one and use it to calculate
frequency.

Summary:

-- Equations #2, #3, #4, and #6 are all correct statements,
and can be used to find frequency.

-- Equations #1 and #5 are incorrect statements.
