Harry’s tv plan cost 49.99 per month plus 3.49 per first run movie how many first run movies can he watch if he wants to keep hi
KIM [24]

Answer:

He can watch 14 first run movies to keep his monthly bill to be a maximum of $ 100.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that Harry’s TV plan cost $ 49.99 per month plus $ 3.49 per first run movie, to determine how many first run movies can he watch if he wants to keep his monthly bill to be a maximum of $ 100, the following calculation must be performed:

100 - 49.99 = 50.01

50.01 / 3.49 = X

14.32 = X

49.99 + (3.49 x 14) = 98.85

Thus, he can watch 14 first run movies to keep his monthly bill to be a maximum of $ 100.

What is the value of x? 1/6 (3 - 2x) < 1/3 x
777dan777 [17]

Step-by-step explanation:

1/6 (3 - 2x) < 1/3 x

let's multiply everything by 6

3 - 2x < 6/3 x

3 - 2x < 2x

3 < 4x

3/4 < x

so, x > 3/4

since 3/4 is never equal to x but is purely smaller than x, the interval of valid x values starts right after 3/4 and goes to infinity.

x = 3/4 is not valid, because 3/4 is not smaller than 3/4 (it is equal to) ...

What is the answer to this problem
aksik [14]
The answer would be C. If the question is asking for the cost to rent a CAR then y should be what your equation equals too, not x. Second off, if you follow the dots, you see that at 5 days the car rental cost is at 200. If you divide 200 by 5 then you get 40.
