Answer:

x = 1.2

Step-by-step explanation:

Essentially, because ABCDE and JKLMN are similar, their corresponding sides have a common ratio. To find x, we can simply the ratio between NJ and its corresponding side equal to the ratio of another pair of corresponding sides.

\frac{BA}{KJ}=\frac{AE}{JN}

\frac{3}{1.8}=\frac{2}{x}

3x = 3.6

x = 1.2

T-T this took waaaaaay too long to be helpful but I hope it is anyways!

The answer is 1.2 each side on the bigger shape that correlated with that side on the smaller shape, can be scaled down by a certain amount to get a value for that particular side. So in this problem you would do 2/1.666666666666667 Wich equals 1.2

The acceleration function a(t) (in m/s2) and the initial velocity v(0) are given for a particle moving along a line.
klemol [59]

Answer:

A: v(t)=-t^2+4t-5

Step-by-step explanation:

Acceleration is second derivative of position, velocity is first derivative. Therefore, the velocity is the integral of acceleration.

v(t)=\int\ {2t+4} \, dt

Integrate:

-t^2+4t+C

V(0)=-5:

-0^2+4(0)+C=-5\\C=-5

Therefore, v(t):

v(t)=-t^2+4t-5
