Combine like terms . What is a simpler form of the expression? 2(x/2 -5)-3/2(x+7/4). Please Explain.
Aleks04 [339]
Are you able to expand everything first? from there you would be able to combine line terms. basically if you have 3x+2x it would combine to 5x because they have x in them.

IN THE FIGURE 5.24 TO THE RIGHT ABCD IS A RHOMBUS.SHOW THAT AC IS THE BISECTOR OF <BAD.
Inessa05 [86]

In any rhombus, the four sides are the same length.

Because of this, we know that

  • AD = AB
  • CD = BC

Furthermore, AC = AC due to the reflective property

Those three facts then allow us to prove triangle ACD is congruent to triangle ACB through the SSS congruence property. Then from CPCTC, we then know that  angle DAC = angle BAC,  which is enough to show that AC bisects the angle shown. The term "bisect" means "cut in half".

What is the volume of a sphere with a radius of 8 m, rounded to the nearest tenth of a cubic meter?
zlopas [31]
<h3>given:</h3>

radius= 8 m

<h3>to find:</h3>

the volume of the sphere

<h3>solution:</h3>

v =  \frac{4}{3} \pi {r}^{3}

v =  \frac{4}{3}  \times \pi \times  {8}^{3}

v = 2144.66058 \:  {m}^{3}

v = 2144.7 \:  {m}^{3}
