What material parameters determine resistivity?
sleet_krkn [62]

Answer:

Resistivity \rho =\frac{RA}{l}

It depends upon cross sectional area and length of material

Explanation:

The resistance of any material is given by R=\frac{\rho l}{A}, here \rho is the resistivity of material , l is length of material and A is cross sectional area

So resistivity \rho =\frac{RA}{l}

So resistuivity of any material depends upon area of cross section and length of material

If cross sectional area will be more then resistivity will be more. And is length of the material will be more then resistivity will be less

An 8.0 cm object is 40.0 cm from a concave mirror that has a focal length of 10.0 cm. Its image is 16.0 cm in front of the mirro
svet-max [94.6K]
 We can rearrange the mirror equation before plugging our values in.
1/p = 1/f - 1/q.
1/p = 1/10cm - 1/40cm
1/p = 4/40cm - 1/40cm = 3/40cm
40cm=3p  <-- cross multiplication
13.33cm = p

Now that we have the value of p, we can plug it into the magnification equation.

M=-16/13.33=1.2
1.2=h'/8cm
9.6=h'

So the height of the image produced by the mirror is 9.6cm.

A "570-W" electric heater is designed to operate from 120-V lines. What current does it draw? If the line voltage drops to 110 V
Viefleur [7K]

Answer:

Watts=Volt*Amps

So A=570/120=4.75amps

If voltage drops to 110V We get A=570/110=5.(18...)amps
