humidity of the surrounding air

Only one is a chemical property which is

Answer:   A. 1

Explanation:

A physical change is defined as a change in physical properties of a matter such as shape , size and its state ( Solid , liquid or gas ).

This process is a reversible process.

On the other hand a chemical change is defined as a change in chemical properties of a matter such that its composition gets changed . This process is irreversible.

Given Factors : temperature  , ripening , evaporation , humidity

Here,

Physical changes are : temperature  , evaporation , humidity because they are reversible, they do not form a new substance.

But ripening of oranges is an irreversible process because its a chemical change in it which makes fruit more sweeter and softer.

Hence, there is only 1 factor which is a chemical change.

How much Sr(OH)2 • 8 H2O (M = 265.76) is needed to prepare 250.0 ML of solution in which [OH]= 0.100M?
SVEN [57.7K]
Use the formula
first step:
Use the formula
molarity= mole/liter
change ml to l
plug in data
 to get .1=mole/.25 or .1M*.25liter
which =.025 moles
then divide .025 moles by two because there are two OH in Sr(OH)2
then multiply that by 265.76 (the molar mass of water)
.0125*265.76
which is 3.32grams this is your answer

Can anyone give me the name of these? 40 points. Hope it's not too much
kolbaska11 [484]
1. 5 ethyl, 2 methyl octane
2. 1 ethyl, 2 methyl cyclopentane
3. 3,3,5,5- tetrafluoro heptane
4. 3,4-dimethyl hexene
5. 3,4-dimethyl cyclobutene
6. 3,5 diisopropyl cyclohexene
7. 3,3,4 trimethyl pentyne
8. 2,6 dibromo phenol

keep in mind that between 4-7, there could be #1 in front of the main name. for example with #4: 3,4-dimethyl-1- hexene. this honestly depends on the professor how he/she likes it. It is not necessary because if the number is not specified, it is assumed is #1

Why does nuclear charge increase as you go left to right across a period
MariettaO [177]

 The atomic number increases moving left to right across a period and subsequently so does the effective nuclear charge. Therefore, moving left to right across a period the nucleus has a greater pull on the outer electrons and the atomic radii decreases.
