Answer:

C1 + C2 = 30     parallel connection

C1 * C2 / (C1 + C2) = 7.2  series connection

C1 * C2 = 7.2 * (C1 + C2) = 216

C2 + 216 / C2 = 30    using first equation

C2^2 + 216 = 30 C2

C2^2 - 30 C2 + 216 = 0

C2 = 12 or 18    solving the quadratic

Then C1 = 18 or 12

The difference in particle size of the soil constituents determine its texture.
Schach [20]

Answer:Soil texture depends on the size of individual soil particles and is determined by the relative proportions of particle sizes that make up the soil. The texture affects the amount of water that can be absorbed for use by plants and animals.

How much heat is needed to raise the temperature of 90g of water by 64oC?
wel
The heat released or absorbed by a process where temperature changes is calculated from the product of the mass of the sample, its heat capacity (4.18 J/g C for water) and the change of the temperature.

Heat = mC(T)
Heat = 90 (4.8) (64) = 27648 J or 27.65 kJ needed

A light string is wrapped around the outer rim of a solid uniform cylinder of diameter 75.0 cm that can rotate without friction
anyanavicka [17]

Answer:18.5 kg

Explanation:

Given

diameter d=75 cm

mass of stone m=3 kg

velocity of stone v=3.4 m/s

height fallen h=2.40 m

using

v^2-u^2=2as

(3.4)^2=2\times a\times 2.4

a=2.4 m/s^2

Tension of string will Provide Torque to cylinder

T\times r=I\times \alpha

where I=moment\ of\ inertia

\alpha =angular\ acceleration

T=\frac{Mr^2}{2}\times \frac{a}{r}

T=\frac{Ma}{2}

and mg-T=ma

mg-ma=T

Put value of T

mg-ma=\frac{Ma}{2}

mg=a(m+\frac{M}{2})

3\times 9.8=2.4\cdot (m+\frac{M}{2})

12.25=3+\frac{M}{2}

9.25=\frac{M}{2}

M=18.5 kg
