Answer:

Desert

Explanation:

The desert receives the least amount of rainfall yearly.

A desert can be described a barren area of land where little amount of rainfall occurs and, because of this, living conditions are not favourable for plants and animal life. Because there is no vegetation in a desert, the bare surface of the ground are subjected to denudation.

The graph below represents changes in water. What process is occurring during section “B” of the graph?
Fittoniya [83]

Melting

we know that ice melts at 0 ⁰C. in the graph, at position B, the temperature is constant, which indicates that phase change is taking place there. at B , from the graph , we also notice that the temperature is constant at value 0 ⁰C. this indicates that ice at 0 ⁰C is converting to water at 0 ⁰C there at position B in the graph.

hence the correct choice is   Melting.

Newtons 1st law of motion states that the object will continue to move at its present speed and direction until an outside force acts upon it.

So unless the objects inside the car are restrained, they will continue moving at whatever speed the car is traveling at, even if the car is stopped by a crash.

A proton is accelerated from rest through a potential difference V0 and gains a speed v0. If it were accelerated instead through
Neporo4naja [7]

Answer:

Explanation:

Let the charge on proton be q .

energy gain by proton in a field having potential difference of V₀

= V₀ q

Due to gain of energy , its kinetic energy becomes 1/2 m v₀²

where m is mass and v₀ is velocity of proton

V₀ q = 1/2 m v₀²

In the second case , gain of energy in electrical field

= 2 V₀q , if v be the velocity gained in the second case

2 V₀q = 1/2 m v²

1/2 m v² = 2 V₀q = 2 x 1/2 m v₀²

mv² = 2  m v₀²

v = √2 v₀

a microwave uses a 14 a of electricity if 120 v is run through it what is the resistance of the microwave
Airida [17]
Resistance = voltage / current.

That's. 120v / 14A = 8.57 ohms.

By the way, voltage doesn't "run through" anything. Current does. That would be the 14 Amps.
