Answer:

5 moles of  Fe₂(SO₄)₃  will be produced

Explanation:

Given data:

Number of moles of Fe₂(SO₄)₃ = ?

Number of moles of Fe react = 10 mol

Solution:

Chemical equation:

3H₂SO₄   +   2Fe    →        Fe₂(SO₄)₃ + 3H₂

Now we will compare the moles of iron and  Fe₂(SO₄)₃ .

                 Fe        :           Fe₂(SO₄)₃

                  2          :             1

                  10         :           1/2×10 = 5 mol

5 moles of  Fe₂(SO₄)₃  will be produced.

What is manganese dioxide in preparation of oxygen?
Levart [38]

Answer:

When manganese(IV) oxide is added to hydrogen peroxide, bubbles of oxygen are given off. To make oxygen in the laboratory, hydrogen peroxide is poured into a conical flask containing some manganese(IV) oxide. The gas produced is collected in an upside-down gas jar filled with water.

Match each weather phenomena listed below to its appropriate scale of motion. longwave ridges and troughs microscale a high pres
Ipatiy [6.2K]

Answer:

Longwave ridges = Global scale

High pressure system persists over the central plains for 4 days = Synoptic scale

Supercell thunderstorm that lasts for over an hour = mesoscale

A turbulent eddy = microscale

Explanation:

Global scale has a range of the entire earth

synoptic scale has a range of about 100-1000km and can last fro days to weeks

mesoscale has a range of 4-100km and lasts for a day maximum

microscale is the least of all atmospheric motions.

Which of these neutralization reactions has a ph < 7 when equal molar amounts of acid and base are mixed. select one:
emmasim [6.3K]
The correct answer is B.
Strong acids completely dissociates to give hydrogen ions . Weak bases can only partially dissociate to give hydroxide ions .
Therefore when equal amounts of acid and base are mixed, while Acid is completely dissociated and gives out hydrogen ions but base only gives out a fraction of hydroxide ions.
Therefore number of hydrogen ions in the solution will be higher than hydroxide ions, resulting in an acidic pH. Therefore pH <7
