Answer:

the final velocity of the cart is 30 m/s

Explanation:

Given;

initial velocity of the cart, u = 10 m/s

distance moved by the cart, d = 200 m

acceleration of the cart, a = 2.0 m/s²

The final velocity of the cart is calculated as;

v² = u² + 2ad

where;

v is the final velocity

v²  = 10² + 2(2)(200)

v² = 900

v = √900

v = 30 m/s

Therefore, the final velocity of the cart is 30 m/s

Express the distance between the moon and earth in meters with a meter prefix (km).
tankabanditka [31]

Answer;

= 3.86 × 10^8 Meters

Explanation;

-The distance between the Earth and the moon is 386000 km

But; 1 km = 1000 m

Therefore; 386000 km will be equivalent to;

= 386000 × 1000

= 386000000 m

= 3.86 × 10^8 meters

Help. I need to find the degree using the sine law.
Marina CMI [18]
Use pythagorean theorem
a ^{2}  + b {}^{2}  = c {}^{2}
to find the opposite side, which is 7.3

so then you can just use inverse sinA=7.3/10 which equals 46.9 degrees

On your first trip to Planet X you happen to take along a 180 g mass, a 40-cm-long spring, a meter stick, and a stopwatch. You'r
lys-0071 [83]

Answer:

g_x = 3.0 m / s^2

Explanation:

Given:

- Change in length of spring [email protected] = 22.6 cm

- Time taken for 11 oscillations t = 19.0 s

Find:

- The value of gravitational free fall g_x at plant X:

Solution:

- We will assume a simple harmonic motion of the mass for which Time is:

                                 T  = 2*pi*sqrt(k / m )    ...... 1

- Sum of forces in vertical direction @equilibrium is zero:

                                 F_net = k*x - m*g_x = 0

                                 (k / m) = (g_x / x)    .... 2

- substitute Eq 2 into Eq 1:

                                  2*pi / T = sqrt ( g_x / x )

                                   g_x = (2*pi / T )^2 * x

- Evaluate g_x:

                                  g_x = (2*pi / (19 / 11) )^2 * 0.226

                                  g_x = 3.0 m / s^2
