They are related because waves affect matter. Reflection, refraction, and diffraction. Reflection occurs when wave bounces back from a surface that they cannot pass through. Refraction occurs when waves bend as they enter a new medium at an angle and start traveling at a different speed.

A mass of 2000 kg is raised 2.0 m in 10 seconds. What is the potential energy of the mass at this height?
Kaylis [27]
Gravitational potential energy is defined as the amount of energy an object possesses at a given height above the Earth's surface. The equation for gravitational energy is E = mgh. Here, m is the mass of the object, g is the acceleration due to gravity, and h is the height above the Earth's surface. Hence, the answer is E = 2000kg x 9.81m/s^2 x 2m = 39240 Joules.

How do the linear equation and quadratic equation are differ? What do we suffer on earth? What if we would live on the moon /sun
Aleksandr [31]

A quadratic equation is a parabola and a linear equation is a straight line.

  • Quadratic Equation is an equation in which the power of variable mostly x is two.
  • Standard quadratic equation is  ax^{2} +bx+c=0
  • Any linear equation have form like y=mx+c
  • The moon has no atmosphere, no weather and no oceans of water. Its surface is in a perpetual vacuum.
  • Because the moon's gravity is only one-sixth that of the Earth's gravity, Apollo astronauts had to risk of stumbling or falling.
  • Astronauts on the moon were protected from the extreme temperatures by their spacesuits. The suits had several layers of insulating material covered by a highly reflective outer layer.
