Answer:

If the Jaguar were to be removed from the ecosystem, it would not be good. Jaguars eat Capybaras. If the Jaguar would cease to exist, the Capybaras would overpopulate and the ecosystem would fall out of balance. The Capybaras would overpopulate, and when there are to many Capybaras there won't be enough food for all of them.

Explanation:

I learned this in school.

yanalaym [24]

Answer:

The correct answer is - decreased population size at all levels.

Explanation:

A decrease in the productivity of producers of an ecosystem will lead to a decrease in all other organisms of the ecosystem including top-level consumers to the bottom-level producers due to the fact that producers provide energy and food to primary consumers.

It is because they are the only organisms that convert the sunlight to usable energy and food that transfer from one trophic level to other, so if the population of producers or their productivity will decrease then there will be decreased population size at all levels.

Garden plants are eaten by snails, which are eaten by birds, which are eaten by the household cat. What happens to the other mem
Alex17521 [72]

The correct answer is (d) The number of plants and birds increases and the number of snail decreases.

Green plants are eaten by snails, snails by birds, and birds by household cat. If cat is removed from the cycle then the number of birds will increase which will decrease the number of snail in the environment.  As there are large number of birds there will be a great demand of snails as a food for birds. Then there will be a decrease in the number of snails because of over eating of snails. There will be an increase in the number of garden plants because very less number of snails are left that will eat garden plants.
