How much work is done if you push a box 150 meters with a force of 1.4 N
ss7ja [257]
The work done to push the box is equal to the product between the force and the distance through which the force is applied:
W=Fd
In our problem, the force is F=1.4 N and the distance covered is d=150 m, so the work done by pushing the box is
W=Fd=(1.4 N)(150 m)=210 J

Increase of green house gases, due to human activity, is warming the oceans. This causes changes in climate. Name three Earth sp
miskamm [114]
The three earth spheres which interact in this process are THE ATMOSPHERE, THE HYDROSPHERE AND THE BIOSPHERE.
The increase in the green house gases is destroying the ozone layers of the atmosphere, this makes it possible for more ultraviolet rays to penetrate through the atmosphere unto the earth surface. The increased temperature provided by these rays is warming up the oceans and this in turn is affecting the animals and the plants that reside in the oceans and those that depend on them. These chains of activities is changing the climate of the world and is affecting all the living things that live on the earth surface.

an athlete whirls a 7.00 kg hammer tied to the end of a 1.3 m chain in a horizontal circle the hammer moves at the rate of 1.0 r
ElenaW [278]

Answer:

The answer to your question is a = 1.3 m/s²

Explanation:

Centripetal acceleration is the motion of a body that transverse a circular path.

Data

mass = 7 kg

radius = r = 1.3 m

angular rate = w = 1.0 rev/s

centripetal acceleration = a = ?

Formula

a = rw²

Substitution

a = (1.3)(1)²

Simplification and result

a = 1.3 m/s²

A rocket-driven sled Sonic Wind No. 2, is used for investigating the physiological effects of large accelerations on people. It
rewona [7]

Answer:

The best single equation in order to fin the acceleration is

a=v_f/t=250/2=125m/s^2

Explanation:

The best single equation in order to find the acceleration is the following kinematics equation:

v_f=v_o+at

As the rocket start from the rest, the initial velocity value is zero. Then the acceleration value is:

a=v_f/t=250/2=125m/s^2
