How can Climate Change impact the formation of Hurricanes?

A hurricane is just like any other low-pressure system.

But it gets bigger, and stronger, and picks up a lot of rain, by passing over warm, tropical ocean water.

If anything like climate change or hot fish were to come along and make that water warmer, then there would be more energy for the low pressure system to absorb from the warmer water.  Then it would get even bigger and stronger, and it would pick up even more rain on its way over.

Also, normal-size low-pressure systems over the ocean that could never become tropical storms or hurricanes before, COULD do it now that the ocean is warmer.  (Notice how this year, 2020, there have been so many hurricanes and tropical storms that NOAA ran out of names for them, and had to start using Greek letters.  This has only happened once before.)

Climate change may affect tropical cyclones in a variety of ways: an intensification of rainfall and wind speed, a decrease in overall frequency, an increase in frequency of very intense storms and a poleward extension of where the cyclones reach maximum intensity are among the possible consequences

stepan [7]
Your driving zone refers to the areas of space around your car, it refers to all the area around your car as far as your eyes can see.
Each car has seven zones numbered from 1 to 7. Driving zone 7 corresponds with THE SPACE YOUR VEHICLE IS OCCUPYING. The other zones are as follows:
zone 1 = area directly infront of your car
zone 2 = your left lane
zone 3 = your right lane
zone 4 = left rear of your car
zone 5 = right rear of your car
zone 6 = area directly behind your car.

Each plate of a parallel‑plate capacitor is a square of side 3.63 cm, and the plates are separated by 0.473 mm. The capacitor is
NARA [144]

Answer:

E= 55.53 x 10³ V/m

Explanation:

Given that

a=  3.63 cm

Area ,A= a²

distance ,d= 0.473 mm

Stored energy ,U = 8.49 nJ

Value of capacitor given as

C=\dfrac{\varepsilon _oA}{d}

By putting the values

C=\dfrac{8.85\times 10^{-12}\times 3.63^2\times 10^{-4}}{0.473\times 10^{-3}}

C=2.46 x 10⁻¹¹ F

U=\dfrac{1}{2}CV^2

V=Voltage difference

V=\sqrt{\dfrac{2U}{C}}

V=\sqrt{\dfrac{2\times 8.49\times 10^{-9}}{2.46\times 10^{-11}}}

V=26.27 V

V= E d

E=Electric filed

26.27 = E x 0.473 x 10⁻³

E= 55.53 x 10³ V/m

A race car starts from rest on a circular track of radius 378 m. The car's speed increases at the constant rate of 0.580 m/s2. A
insens350 [35]

Answer:

a) V=14.904m/s

b) d = 191.49 m

c) t= 25.696 s

Explanation:

From the question we are told that:

Radius r =378m

Acceleration a=0.580

a)

Generally the  equation for speed of the car is mathematically given by

 a=\frac{v^2}{r}

 V=\sqrt{a*r}

 V=\sqrt{0.58*383}

 V=14.904m/s

b)

Generally the  equation for distance traveled of the car is mathematically given by

 V^2=u^2+2ad

 d=\frac{V^2}{2a}

 d=\frac{14.904^2}{2*0.58}

 d = 191.49 m

c)

Generally the  equation for time of the car is mathematically given by

 V=u+at

 t=\frac{V}{a}

 t=\frac{14.904}{0.58}

 t= 25.696 s

Y_Kistochka [10]

Complete question is;

A bicycle and a car start their journey at the same time the cyclist reaches it's top speed of 10m/s in 15 s, the car reaches a speed of 15 m/s in 55 s. which has the greater acceleration the car or the bicycle.

Answer:

The bicycle has the greater acceleration.

Explanation:

Cyclist reaches a top speed of 10m/s in 15 s.

Formula for acceleration here is;

a = v/t

a = 10/15

a = 0.67 m/s²

Car reaches a speed of 15 m/s in 55 s.

Thus;

a = 15/55

a = 0.27 m/s²

From the 2 acceleration values gotten, we can say that;

The bicycle has the greater acceleration.
