Answer:

-2100N

Explanation:

let's find acceleration first,

a=v-u/t

a=0-35/5

a=-35/5

a= -7m/s^2

then lets find force,

F=ma

F=300×-7

F= -2100N

A 38.2 kg wagon is towed up a hill inclined at 17.5 ◦ with respect to the horizontal. The tow rope is parallel to the incline an
Tema [17]

Answer:

v = 8.57 m/s

Explanation:

As we know that the wagon is pulled up by string system

So the net force on the wagon along the inclined is due to tension in the rope and component of weight along the inclined plane

So as per work energy theorem we know that

work done by tension force + work done by force of gravity = change in kinetic energy

F_t . d - (mgsin\theta)(d) = \frac{1}{2}mv^2 - 0

so we have

F_t = 129 N

\theta = 17.5^o

m = 38.2 kg

d = 85.4 m

so now we have

129(85.4) - (38.2)9.8sin17.5 (85.4) = \frac{1}{2}(38.2) v^2

v = 8.57 m/s

A very small sphere with positive charge 5.00uC is released from rest at a point 1.20cm from a very long line of uniform linear
JulijaS [17]
Let us situate this on the x axis, and let our uniform line of charge be positioned on the interval <span>(−L,0]</span> for some large number L. The voltage V as a function of x on the interval <span>(0,∞)</span> is given by integrating the contributions from each bit of charge. Let the charge density be λ. Thus, for an infinitesimal length element <span>d<span>x′</span></span>, we have <span>λ=<span><span>dq</span><span>d<span>x′</span></span></span></span>.<span>V(x)=<span>1/<span>4π<span>ϵ0</span></span></span><span>∫line</span><span><span>dq/</span>r</span>=<span>λ/<span>4π<span>ϵ0</span></span></span><span>∫<span>−L</span>0</span><span><span>d<span>x/</span></span><span>x−<span>x′</span></span></span>=<span>λ/<span>4π<span>ϵ0</span></span></span><span>(ln|x+L|−ln|x|)</span></span>

If a girl is standing still and holding a box, is she doing any work? Why or why not?
sukhopar [10]
I beleive she isnt doing any work due to holding the box motionless, you must be exerting a force in the direction of the box motion. If she is just standing there holding the box their isn't no work becuase no distance has been covered. work = force = distance.

Planet with an atmosphere that rains sulfuric acid
Paladinen [302]

Answer:

Venus

Explanation:

Venus is the second plate in the solar system. It is a terrestrial planet and it is part of the inner rocky planets.

In Venus, it rains sulfuric acid but the rain never reaches the surface before it becomes evaporated. The acid forms from the combination of sulfur oxide and water in the atmosphere at a height of about 42km. As it condenses and falls, it becomes evaporated back at lower elevations. The surface is therefore protected from the sulfuric acid rain.

The sulfur oxide and water vapor must have been derived from volcanic activities in geologic times past.
