Well it's a dare so I guess I'll do it.
The side opposite the left 45 degree angle is 8 as well since the 2 base angles are equal.
Use s^2 + b^2 = c^2
Solve for c
8^2 + 8^2 = c^2
64 + 64 = c^2
128 = c^2
c = sqrt(128)
c = sqrt(64 * 2)
c = 8 sqrt(2)
c = 11.31
7+8= 15 and 14-8= 6 hope that help
X = 3y - 6....so sub 3y - 6 in for x in the other equation
2(3y - 6) - 4y = 8
6y - 12 - 4y = 8
2y = 8 + 12
2y = 20
y = 20/2
y = 10
x = 3y - 6
x = 3(10) - 6
x = 30 - 6
x = 24
solution is (24,10)
300\250
1.2
or
6\5
I hope this help
