We should all be concerned about global climate change since the climate controls so many factors that we depend upon. (These are things like temperature (which is different from climate), precipitation, ocean salinity and currents, glacial melt, sea level rise, ozone depletion, droughts, wind and the movement of precipitation: agriculture, species loss, erosion,  global warming occurs when carbon dioxide (CO2) and other air pollutants and greenhouse gases collect in the atmosphere and absorb sunlight and solar radiation that have bounced off the earths surface.
