The hydrogen is placed on the left side of the periodic table because it follow numerical order of electrons and also it is on the Group 1 due to having one valence electron. Lastly it is in row 1 because the numbers of energy levels a hydrogen atom has.

The churning air in the troposphere helps determine the of a place
Arturiano [62]
The answer is the climate of a place. The troposphere is the lowermost level of Earth's air, and is likewise where closely all weather and climate situations happen. It covers about 75% of the air's mass and 99% of the total form of water vapor and aerosols.

If an emergency vehicle passes you in traffic, just as it passes you the pitch of
Keith_Richards [23]

If an emergency vehicle passes you in traffic, just as it passes you the pitch of the siren changes as it approaches, the siren’s pitch sounds higher than when it is moving away from you.the frequency increases as the siren is moving toward you, and decreases as it is moving away, is correct

This change is a common physical demonstration of the Doppler effect.

What is Doppler effect ?

This effect refers to the increase in the frequency of sound, as the source and observer move toward (or away from) each other.

The effect causes the sudden change in pitch noticeable in a passing siren.

Hence Option (B) i.e, the frequency increases as the siren is moving toward you, and decreases as it is moving away, is correct

What is the overall equation for this chemical reaction?
Lady bird [3.3K]
We combine the two equations, like we would any mathematical system of equations. After addition of the two equations, we get:
Mg + 2H⁺(aq) + 2e⁻ → Mg⁺²(aq) + H₂(g) + 2e⁻
Cancelling like terms from both sides

Mg + 2H⁺(aq) → Mg⁺²(aq) + H₂(g)

Write the balanced net ionic equation for the reactions that occur when the given aqueous solutions are mixed. Include the physi
Anestetic [448]

Answer:

a. 2 H⁺ (aq) + 2 OH⁻ (aq) → 2H₂O(l)

b. Pb²⁺(aq) + 2I⁻(aq) → PbI₂(s)

Explanation:

First of all, we must determine if the reactants produce precipitates:

A. HNO₃, Ca(OH)₂

B. Pb(NO₃)₂, KI

A. This is a neutralization reaction:

Acid + Base → Water and Salt

The net ionic equation shows, that water is produced

We dissociate the compounds:

HNO₃ → H⁺(aq) + NO₃⁻(aq)

Ca(OH)₂(aq) → Ca²⁺(aq) + 2OH⁻(aq)

Ionic complete equation:

2H⁺(aq) + 2NO₃⁻(aq) + Ca²⁺(aq) + 2OH⁻(aq) → Ca²⁺(aq) + 2NO₃⁻(aq) + H₂O(l)

Net ionic equation: 2 H⁺ (aq) + 2 OH⁻ (aq) → H₂O(l)

B. Pb(NO₃)₂, KI

We dissociate: Pb(NO₃)₂ (aq) → Pb²⁺(aq) + 2NO₃⁻(aq)

KI(aq) → K⁺(aq) + I⁻(aq)

Salts from nitrate are soluble but, when the iodide reacts, it can make a lead iodide precipitate

Ionic complete equation:

Pb²⁺(aq) + 2NO₃⁻(aq) + K⁺(aq) + 2I⁻(aq) → K⁺(aq) + 2NO₃⁻(aq) +PbI₂(s)

Net ionic equation: Pb²⁺(aq) + 2I⁻(aq) → PbI₂(s)

We cancel the repeated ions
