5/10 is equal to 25/50
I ts because you multiply 5x5 to get 25 and do the same to the denominator so 10x5 is equal to 50 so 25/50 is the answer.

How can you find the surface area of a composite solid made up of prisms ? (Help)
sammy [17]
Oh, this is easy. For any prism, you find the surface area by finding the are of all the sides. I will post all surface area formulas here, for reference
Cube:

Surface area = 6 × a2

Right circular cylinder:

Surface area = 2 × pi × r2   +  2 × pi × r × h

pi = 3.14
h is the height
r is the radius

Rectangular prism:

Surface area = 2 × l × w  +  2 × l × h  +  2 × w × h

l is the length
w is the width
h is the height

Sphere:

Surface area = 4 × pi × r2

pi = 3.14
r is the radius

Right circular cone:

Surface area = pi × r2  +  pi × r ×( √(h2 + r2))

pi = 3.14
r is the radius
h is the height
l is the slant height

Right square pyramid:

Surface area = s2 + 2 × s × l

s is the length of the base
h is the height
l is the slant height

Please help idk thisssss
Alekssandra [29.7K]
ANSWER
0.073 \% = 0.00073

EXPLANATION

Recall that,

\% =  \frac{1}{100}

That is why
100\%
is equivalent to
1.

This implies that,

0.073\% = 0.073 \times  \frac{1}{100}

This is the same as,

0.073\% = \frac{0.073}{100}

When we are dividing by
100
we move the decimal point backwards two times.

This implies that,

0.073\% = 0.00073

Out of 30 questions, Ahmad answer 12 of them incorrectly. What percent of the questions did he answer correctly?
kati45 [8]
First, you would need to determine how many questions he got correct.
30 - 12 = 18

Next, you would need to create an equation for this problem. Let x represent the unknown percentage.
\frac{18}{30} = \frac{x}{100}

Now, you would cross multiply.
30x = 1,800

The last step would be to isolate the x. To do this, you would divide both sides of the equal sign by 30.
x = 60

Ahmad got 60% of the questions correct.

I hope this helps!
