Imagine that a single cell below goes through four cell divisions. How many cells are produced? To find out, draw the parent cel
Lisa [10]

16 cells are produced from a single parent cell after the fourth division of the cell.

What is a cell?

In biology, the smallest unit can live on its own and that makes up all living organisms and the tissues of the body.

In mitosis type of cell division, one parent cell is divided into two same or different daughter cells. In this way, in the first division, two cells are produced from single parent cells and in the second division, four daughter cells are produced. In the third division, 8 cells are produced from 4 parent cells and in the fourth division, 16 cells are formed from 8 cells.

So we can conclude that 16 cells are produced from a single parent cell after the fourth division of the cell.

How many nadh molecules are made from one molecule of acetyl coa going through the krebs cycle?
Mashcka [7]

Answer:

3 NADH molecules are made from each molecule of acetyl CoA through the Krebs Cycle.

Explanation:

First, 1 NADH is produced from each carbon lost from the 6-carbon citric acid (2 NADH total). Lastly, 1 additional NADH is made from the transformation of malate into oxaloacetic acid (acceptor molecule for acetyl CoA).

Which element contains the largest number of neutrons per atom?
Mamont248 [21]

Answer:

Explanation:

An atom consist of electron, protons and neutrons. Protons and neutrons are present with in nucleus while the electrons are present out side the nucleus.

All these three subatomic particles construct an atom. A neutral atom have equal number of proton and electron. In other words we can say that negative and positive charges are equal in magnitude and cancel the each other.

Copper: (per atom)

Number of protons = 29

Number of electrons = 29

Number of neutrons = 35

Nickel: (per atom)

Number of protons = 28

Number of electrons = 28

Number of neutrons = 31

Iron: (per atom)

Number of protons = 26

Number of electrons = 26

Number of neutrons = 30

Manganese: (per atom)

Number of protons = 25

Number of electrons = 25

Number of neutrons = 30
