Why did President Harry Truman decide to hit the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki with two atomic bombs in 1945?
siniylev [52]

Answer:

The correct answer would be option D, He hoped to prevent a ground invasion of Japan and save the lives of American Soldiers.

Explanation:

In 1945, United States President, Harry Truman hit Japan's two cities, Nagasaki and Hiroshima with atomic bombs. He dropped the bombs to prevent the Japanese ground invasion and to save to lives of American soldiers. Also it would cost them high, would be truly difficult to handle and would be extremely terrible, because Japanese attacks were so brutal and no country wanted to confront them one on one on ground. That is one of the many reasons why US president dropped atomic bombs on Japan's cities.

Example of a direct observation?
Cloud [144]
Direct observations are things you see directly. For instance, if there are 10 ants walking on a table, and you count the ten ants, you can say that you have directly observed 10 ants.
here is a indirect observation so you know also
Indirect observations are ones which you do not see directly but infer from another observation. A good example is animal tracks. You may see, for instance, paw tracks in the sand. You did not see the dog that made those tracks, but you know he was there because the tracks are there. In this case you have indirectly observed the dog.

kirill [66]
Poor ventilation to places that may need it such as apartments resulting in the death or a strong illness of infants and small animals, illness such as bronchitis and pneumonia can become more and more frequent in highly polluted areas. That being said pneumonia can cause excessive coughing (bronchitis does this to) and deathly high fevers. And that's just pollution in the form of smog. Water pollution can cause fishermen and farmers to be unable to harvest or catch food leading to them loosing business, money, and supplies. Just as well The water can pollute the ground people farm with, and people who accidentally swim in or drink the polluted waters by accident can be poisoned by a whole slew of various things. Hope that helped, msg me if you need more accurate info.
