Describe five features of non democratic Pakistan under general Musharraf
krok68 [10]
Heya ! ..
ur answer is here>

▶▶▶▶▶▶▶▶▶▶▶▶▶
1.In Pakistan, General Pervez Musharraf led a military coup and overthrew a democratically elected government and declared himself the ‘Chief Executive’ of the country.
2. Later he conducted a referendum which was based on malpractices and fraud. He changed his designation as President in 2002.
3 In August 2002 he issued a ‘Legal Framework Order’ that amended the constitution of Pakistan. According to this Order, the President can dismiss the national or provincial assemblies.
4. The work of the civilian cabinet is supervised by a National Security Council which is dominated by military officers.
5. After passing this law, elected representatives have some powers but the final power rests with military officers and General Musharraf himself. Because of these reasons Pakistan under General Musharraf should not be called a democracy.

valentinak56 [21]

The economic impact of flooding will be people will have to rebuild their home and communities, they will have to relocate and buy or rent new home. They will need to find new job to replace job destroyed in the flood.

Where do floods occur?

Mountainous streams and rivers, metropolitan areas, low-lying places, storm drains, and culverts are the areas most prone to flash flooding. This kind of flood is brought on by a river or creek's water level gradually rising.

What occurs following a flood?

Homes, buildings, ruined property, and wrecked roads are all visible after a flood. But what you can't see might be just as harmful. Sewage or chemical contamination of floodwaters is common. Live electrical wires and gas leaks are dangerous yet not immediately apparent.

Identify the true and false statements about the "underclass." True Statement(s) Drag appropriate answer(s) here It is extremely
Zielflug [23.3K]

Answer:

True Statement(s)

The underclass is in many ways disconnected from the rest of society.

It is extremely difficult for a member of the underclass to move out of it.

Incorrect Statement(s)

Geographically, the underclass is found mostly in extremely rural areas.

The underclass has shrunk in size over the last 25 years.

Explanation:

The concept of underclass bears many of the characteristics of earlier population conceptual frameworks at the lower tiers of the economic and social hierarchy. Charles Murray used the word underclass in 1984 to explain a populace of perpetual or prolonged poverty whose low-income status passes from one generation to another due to inherently dysfunctional behaviors. Recent researches indicate a fall in its size because of shortfalls in the number of census tracts with significant concentrations of dropout from high levels of receipt of social assistance.
