32.05

Molarity=

molarmass

density×1000moles/litre

Molar mass of HCl = 1+35.5

=36.5g/mol

Molarity =

36.5

1.17×1000

=32.05

<h2>~<u>Solution</u> :-</h2>

Here, we have been given that;

  • $ \bf{1 ml}$ = 1.17 g
  • $ \bf{1 l}$ = 1170 g

Hence, we can note that,

  • No. of moles of HCL <em>(n) </em>= $ \sf{\frac{1170}{36.5}}$

<em>(n)</em> = 32.05

\\

Thus,

  • Molarity = 32.05 mg/L

Hence, molarity of the given solution will be <u>32.05 mg/</u><u>L</u>.

To cut this short and for your understanding, ionic bond is formed between metals (mostly right column in periodic table). Covalent bond is formed between non-metals (mostly left column in periodic table). So polar covalent is also a covalent bond but it is polar, which means the shape of molecules are not symmetrical hence maybe an atom in a molecule has most of the electron attracted to it causing itself to be partial negative (since electron are negatively charged) and the other atom has its electron being attracted by others became partial positive. Polar covalent can also be when H atom is binding either to F, O or N (also known as hydrogen bond).

The  volume of the new solution is

calculation

by use of the formula

M1V1= M2V2

M1 (molarity 1)  = 2.13 M

V1 (volume 1) = 1.24 l

M2 ( molarity 2) = 1.60 M

V2 (volume 2) = ?

by making V2 the subject of the formula

V2 = M1 V1/ M2

V2=( 1.24  x 2.13)÷ 1.60=  1.651 L

How can indicator be used to determine if a solution is an acid or base
dalvyx [7]

Answer:

To tell if something is an acid or a base, you can use a chemical called an indicator. An indicator changes color when it encounters an acid or base. There are many different types of indicators, some that are liquids and others that are concentrated on little strips of "litmus" paper.
