Answer: A woman kicks a soccer ball and scores a goal.

Explanation:

Potential energy: it is the energy possessed by the body due to its position.

Kinetic energy: it is the energy possessed by the the body due to its motion.

When a woman kick's a soccer ball she transferred her potential energy to soccer ball.Due to this action soccer ball comes into motion which means potential energy imparted to the ball starts getting converted into kinetic energy.

Answer: A woman kicks a soccer ball and scores a goal.

Explanation:

Energy possessed by a body due to virtue of its position is known as potential energy.

Energy possessed by a body due to virtue of its motion is known as kinetic energy.

Energy is neither created nor destroyed but can be changed from one form to another.

The situation which represents potential energy being converted to kinetic energy is : when a woman kicks a soccer ball and scores a goal.

The potential energy stored in the ball when work is done to raise it to a height is converted to kinetic energy when ball is in motion and reaches a the goal.

Hey There!

_____________________________________

Answer:

----------------------------------------------------------------------

ELECTROPLATING

Electroplating the plating one metal on to the another metal, It is mostly used for preventing corrosion by using copper or chromium or decorate the object by using gold or silver plating.

__________________________________________________________

Principle:

When electricity is passed the thin layer of metal is deposited on another metal and water molecule given out as a By-Product, Thus this process works on the principle of Hydrolysis.

_____________________________________

QUESTION:

A) Electrolysis

B) Chromium prevents corrosion and gives the fine shining touch to the objects.

C) The metal which is deposited to the object i.e. spoon will be connected to the positive electrode of a battery, Thus it is anode. The spoon at which electroplating is need to be done is connected to the negative electrode, thus the Spoon is cathode.

An isotope of cesium-137 has a half-life of 30 years. If 5.0g of cesium-137 decays over 60 years. How many grams will remain.
LenKa [72]

Answer:

1.25 gram of cesium-137 will remain.

Explanation:

Given data:

Half life of cesium-137 = 30 year

Mass of cesium-137 = 5.0 g

Mass remain after 60 years = ?

Solution:

Number of half lives passed = Time elapsed / half life

Number of half lives passed = 60 year / 30 year

Number of half lives passed = 2

At time zero = 5.0 g

At first half life = 5.0 g/2 = 2.5 g

At 2nd half life = 2.5 g/ 2 = 1.25 g

Thus. 1.25 gram of cesium-137 will remain.

HELP ME PLSSSSS THIS TEST IS TIMED!!!! Write a conclusion statement that addresses the following questions: • How did your exper
SVETLANKA909090 [29]

Although the data for the experiment was not provided, we can offer a generalized answer in that when performing an experiment to achieve absolute zero temperatures, the value will never match the exact value.

What is absolute zero?

Absolute zero is the lower limit of temperature. It is considered the coldest possible temperature that can exist. However, any attempt to reach this temperature in a controlled environment has failed, scientists do not think it is possible to recreate this temperature.

Therefore, we can confirm that the value of the absolute zero experiments did not match the accepted value. If the hypothesis was that it would be difficult or impossible to achieve, then the data would support the hypothesis, otherwise, it would fail to do so.

In summary, absolute zero is a temperature that cannot be recreated in a lab, so the value in this experiment does not match the accepted value and there is no further exploration to be done on this matter.

a rectangular piece of aluminum foil measures 13.72 cm x 8.63 cm and has a mass of 3.1 g. Find how thick it is
Leona [35]

The two dimensions of aluminum foil are given 13.72 cm and 8.63 cm respectively with mass 3.1 g.

The density of aluminum is 2.7 g/cm^{3}. It is defined as mass per unit volume thus, volume of aluminum can be calculated as follows:

V=\frac{m}{d}

Putting the values.

V=\frac{3.1 g}{2.7 g/cm^{3}}=1.148 cm^{3}

The volume of cuboid is l\times b\times h, the length and breadth are given, height can be calculated as follows;

h=\frac{V}{l\times b}

Putting the values,

h=\frac{1.148 cm^{3}}{(13.72 cm)(8.63 cm)}=0.009695 cm

Or, approximately 9.7\times 10^{-3}cm

Therefore, thickness of aluminum foil is 9.7\times 10^{-3}cm
