Rainbow [258]

Answer:

0.04 h

Step-by-step explanation:

The given equation is :

8h=200

It is used to find hours h a person needs to work to earn $200 at $8 per hour.

We need to find no of hours does a person need to work to earn $200. It can be calculated as follows :

\dfrac{8h}{200}=\dfrac{200}{200}\\\\h = 0.04\ h

So, for $200, the person will need 0.04 h.

To solve a system of inequalities, you just need to graph each inequality and see wich points are in the overlap of the graphs.
GrogVix [38]
<h3>Answer: True</h3>

This is often how many math teachers and textbooks approach problems like this. The overlapped region is the region in which satisfies every inequality in the system. Be sure to note the boundary of each region whether you're dealing with a dashed line or a solid line. Dashed lines mean points on the boundary do not count as solution points, whereas solid boundaries allow those points as part of the solution set.

Side note: This is assuming you're dealing with 2 variable inequalities. If you only have one variable, you don't need to graph and instead could use algebra. Graphing doesn't hurt though.

How do I do this?<br> 4/5x&gt;14
Likurg_2 [28]

Well, first, you need to know what you want to 'do' to it.

You want to find the description of what 'x' has to be in order to
make that inequality a true statement.  Here's one way to do it:

                                              4/5 x > 14

Multiply each side by  5 :     4    x  >  70

Divide each side by  4 :             x  >  17.5 .

That's it.  As long as 'x' is more than 17.5 ,
the original inequality is true.
