Answer:200 Mpa

Explanation:

Given that diameter of cylinder = d = 1-25cm = 1.25 100 =0.0125m

Load or mass = m = Stress 0 = ? 2500kg

Solution: Formula N = F A

Area of Cross-section of cylinder = A=πr2 A = π(d/2) 2

= π(d2/4)

=(3.14)(0.0125)2/4

A = 1.226x10-4

F ・ mg = = F A 24500 2500 x 9.8 = 24500 N

1-226x10-4

1998 36 867.9

= 200 x 106 Pa

= 200 MPa

*Hope it helps you*

A light ray hits a plane surface at 20 degrees. What is the angle between the incident and reflected rays.
Eduardwww [97]

Answer:

140°

Explanation:

The law of reflection states that the angle of redlection equals to the angle of incidence.

When light rays hit surface at 20°, they also leave the surface at the same angle

Since the whole surface has 180° then subtracting these two angles from total angle gives the the angle between the incident and reflected rays.

180°-20°-20°=140°

The angle of incidence and reflection are equal hence 140/2=70°

The question needed the angle between the incident and reflected rays which is already calculated as 140°

Compare the magnitude of the magnetic field at the center of a circular current loop of radius 30 mm with the magnitude of the m
NISA [10]

Answer:

Ratio of magnetic field will be \frac{B}{B'}=0.0055

Explanation:

We have given radius of the loop r = 30 mm = 0.03 m

We know that magnetic field at the center of the loop is given by

B=\frac{\mu _0i}{2r}---------eqn 1

Number of turns in the solenoid is given as n = 3 turn per mm = 3000 turn per meter

We know that magnetic field due to solenoid is given by

B'=n\mu _0i-------------eqn 2

Now dividing eqn 1 by eqn 2

\frac{B}{B'}=\frac{\frac{\mu _0i}{2r}}{\mu _0ni}=\frac{1}{2nr}=\frac{1}{2\times 3000\times 0.03}=0.0055

The helicopter was deformed and destroyed in the __?___ collision.
MariettaO [177]

Answer:

The helicopter was deformed and destroyed in the inelastic collision.

Explanation:

  • When two object collide there exist two way of colliding: elastic collision and inelastic collision.
  • Two terms are considered during the collision: kinetic energy and momentum.
  • If both of these terms are conserved in any collision then there is no significant loss of property, this is called as elastic collision.
  • If only momentum is conserved but kinetic energy is converted into other forms then it is inelastic collision. In inelastic collision, the energy is lost in the form of vibration, sound etc. causing the damage to colliding object.
  • Hence the deformation of helicopter was due to inelastic collision.
