Answer:

175.5 kN

Explanation:

We find the acceleration of the Airbus A320 jetliner from,

a = (v - u)/t where u = initial velocity of jetliner = 0 m/s (since it starts from rest), v = final velocity of jetliner = 82 m/s and t = time for velocity change = 35 s

So a = (v - u)/t = (82 m/s - 0 m/s)/35 s = 82 m/s ÷ 35 s = 2.34 m/s²

Now, the thrust of the engines on the jetliner T = ma where m = mass of jetliner = 75,000 kg and a = acceleration of jetliner = 2.34 m/s²

T = ma

= 75,000 kg × 2.34 m/s²

= 175500 N

= 175.5 kN

Determine the value of the force exerted by the surface (normal force) on a
Advocard [28]

Answer:

53.5 N

Explanation:

Vertical component of the F force   50 sin30    = 25 N  upward

   force of gravity = m g = 8 * 9.81 =78.5 N Downward

NET downward force by block on table = net upward force exerted by table = 78.5 -25 =53.5 N

Which of these forms of radiation passes most easily through the disk of the Milky Way?
Rama09 [41]

Answer: 3 - infrared light

Explanation:

There are certain areas of the Milky Way that cannot be observed using the visible range of the electromagnetic spectrum (this includes blue light and red light). This is because these areas are covered or hidden behind columns of interstellar dust and dark matter.

However, using infrared light and sometimes radio waves, it is possible to observe the galaxy better, because this light manages to pass through all that interstellar dust.

PLS I NEED HELP ASAAP
Lerok [7]

Answer:

Option A

Explanation:

The Equation represents the displacement of the object which is represented by x

x=t-t^2

so, x_0 means when time is zero so we replace t with zero in the equation,

x_0=(0)-(0)^2\\x_0=0

now for v which is velocity we need to differentiate the function as the formula for velocity is rate of change of displacement over time so we derivate the equation once and get,

v=1-2t\\

now for v_0 we insert t = 0 and get

v_0=1-2(0)\\v_0=1

now for a which is acceleration the formula of acceleration is rate of change of velocity over time, so we differentiate the the equation of v(velocity) once or the equation of x(displacement) twice so now we get,

a=-2

so Option A is your answer.

Remember derivative of a constant is always zero because a constant value has no rate of change has its a constant hence the derivative is 0

A sledge loaded with bricks has a total mass of 18.3 kg and is pulled at constant speed by a rope inclined at 19.8° above the ho
vladimir1956 [14]

Answer

given,

total mass = 18.3 Kg

inclined at = 19.8°

distance = 19.7 m

coefficient of friction = 0.5

a) Horizontal component of force forward,

        F_x = F cos \theta

Horizontal force backward = force of friction, f =μN.

Normal force, N = mg - F sinθ

Since the velocity is uniform, acceleration, a = 0

Net force, ΣF = 0

        F cos θ+ -μ(mg -F sinθ) = 0

        F (cosθ + μsin θ) = μmg

          F = \dfrac{\mu m g}{cos \theta + \mu sin \theta}

          F = \dfrac{0.5\times 18.3\times 9.8}{cos 19.8^0 +0.5\times sin 19.8^0}

                      =80.76 N

(b) Work done by the rope on the sledge,

        W = F.S cosθ = 80.76 x 19.7 x 0.9360

            = 1497 J

(c) Mechanical energy lost due to friction,

       E = W done against friction,

       W' = f  x S =F x S  = 80.76 x 19.7 x0.9360

            = 1497 J

we know velocity is uniform,.

       W done by the applied force = W done against friction.

           = 1440 J
