The correct answer is voltage.

According to ohm's law,

V = IR, where V is the potential difference between two points(voltage), I is the electricity, R is resistance.

If the resistance in the electrical conductor is kept constant then the current in the circuit can be increased by increasing the voltage.

The current in the circuit is increased by increasing the voltage of the wire.

Further Explanation:

Ohm’s law

It is an important relationship between current, voltage and resistance. Ohms law states that the current through any conducting wire is directly proportional to the voltage across the wire and is inversely proportional to the resistance of the wire.

The mathematical expression for the relation is as follows:

{\text{V}} = {\text{IR}}

Where,

V is the voltage applied measured in volts.

I is the current flow in the wire measured in ampere.

R is the resistance posed measured in ohm.

There are various factors that affect the resistance in a wire, which in turn affect current, that is, length of the wire, area of cross section and nature of the wire.Resistance is directly proportional to the length of the wire and inversely proportional to the area of cross section of the wire. Therefore if the length of the wire increases, the resistance of the wire too increases, which decreases the current flow from the wire. Similarly current has a direct relation to the area of cross section of the wire.

If resistance is kept constant, then the current in the wire can be increased by increasing the voltage of the wire.

Which factor most likely facilitates mass movement after heavy rains in a dry region?
melomori [17]

Answer: Option (b) is the correct answer.

Explanation:

The process in which sediment moves downhill is known as mass movement.

Different types of mass movement are landslides, mud slides, slump, creep etc.

Mud flow contains mass of saturated rock particles of all sizes. Mud flow arises due to sudden flood of water or due to heavy rain in a dry region (semi-arid region). Soil and rocks from a large slope area flow along with the flood water and gets washed to a gulch or canyon.

As a result, debris and water moves down canyon and lay out on the gentle slopes below.

Thus, we can conclude that mud flow is most likely facilitates mass movement after heavy rains in a dry region.

What is nuclear fusion what role does it play in the sun
GalinKa [24]

Answer:

Nuclear fusion is when two atomic nuclei combine and form one nucleus. Nuclear fusion generates all of the Sun's energy. Inward pulling by the Sun's gravity is counteracted by outward pushing by the Sun's nuclear fusion; this balance keeps the sun from collapsing or exploding.

Klio2033 [76]

Answer:

Specific heat capacity

Explanation:

Heat capacity is defined as amount of the heat supplied or absorbed by the given mass of the material so to make a unit change in the material's temperature.

The SI unit is Joule / kelvin (J/K).

It is an extensive property.

While,

Specific heat capacity is the amount of heat absorbed or lost by one gram of mass of the substance to raise it's temperature by 1°C or 1 K
