A current of 1.8 A delivers 2.5 C of charge. How much time was required? 0.70 s 0.72 s 1.4 s 4.5 s
Natalka [10]

Answer:

1.4 s

Explanation:

Given the following data;

Quantity of charge, Q = 2.5 C

Current = 1.8 A

To find the time required;

Mathematically, the quantity of charge passing through a conductor is given by the formula;

Quantity of charge, Q = current * time

Substituting into the formula, we have;

2.5 = 1.8 * time

Time = 2.5/1.8

Time = 1.4 s

A tourist bus is carrying passengers from the bottom of a hill to the top. the people, the bus, and the luggage can be analyzed
WINSTONCH [101]

The  friction between the tires and the road causes loss of energy in the form of heat-energy.

<h3>What is kinetic energy?</h3>

The term kinetic energy refers to the energy of an object that is in motion. The pasengers that are sitting at a point possess potential energy. If the bus stops suddenly, the potential energy of the passengers is converted to kinetic energy as they move forward.

Since friction causes loss of energy, the  friction between the tires and the road causes looss of energy in the form of heat-energy.

A disk between vertebrae in the spine is subjected to a shearing force of 425 N. Find its shear deformation, taking it to have a
zzz [600]

Answer:

option A

Explanation:

given,

shear force = 425 N

Shear modulus = 1.7 × 10⁹ N/m²

disk equivalent to solid cylinder

height = 0.7 cm  and diameter = 6.50 cm

\delta = \dfrac{VL}{AG}\\\\\delta = \dfrac{425\times 0.007}{0.25 \times \pi d^2\times 1.7\times 10^9}\\\\\delta = \dfrac{425\times 0.007}{0.25 \times \pi\times 0.065^2\times 1.7\times 10^9}\\\\\delta  = 5.27 \times 10^{-7} m

hence, the correct answer is option A
