True.

According to MSDS for Chloroform, it is a clear, colorless liquid. it does have a pleasant and sweet smell and taste sweet as well as having a "burning" taste. It has a vapor pressure of 21.1 kPa ( @ 20 degrees Celsius ). It is sensitive to light and should be stored in light-resistant containers and should not be inhaled.

A star is rotating at 5.55x10-5 π rad/s, its velocity decelerates at a constant rate of 0.5x10-9 π rad/s2.?
Basile [38]
<h2>The current rotational period of that star is 10.01 hours.</h2>

Explanation:

Given that,

Initial angular velocity of the star, \omega=5.55\times 10^{-5}\pi \ rad/s

It decelerates, final angular speed, \omega_f=0

Deceleration, \alpha =-0.5\times 10^{-9}\pi \ rad/s^2

It is not required to use the rotational kinematics formula. The angular velocity in terms of time period is given by :

\omega=\dfrac{2\pi}{T}

T is current rotational period of that star

T=\dfrac{2\pi}{\omega}

T=\dfrac{2\pi}{5.55\times 10^{-5}\pi \ rad/s}

T = 36036.03 second

or

1 hour = 3600 seconds

So, T = 10.01 hours

So, the current rotational period of that star is 10.01 hours. Hence, this is the required solution. Hence, this is the required solution.

Link between mass and force of gravity?
Leviafan [203]
Mass x Force of gravity = Weight

Weight is a force.

On Earth, the force due to gravity is ~9.81 N/Kg. So an object of 100 Kg will have a weight of ~981 N

Starting from rest, a 2.3x10-4 kg flea springs straight upward. While the flea is pushing off from the ground, the ground exerts
Harman [31]

Answer:

3.13 m/s

Explanation:

From the question,

Since the flea spring started from rest,

Ek = W................... Equation 1

Where Ek = Kinetic Energy of the flea spring, W = work done on the flea spring.

But,

Ek = 1/2mv²............ Equation 2

Where m = mass of the flea spring, v = flea's speed when it leaves the ground.

substitute equation 2 into equation 1

1/2mv² = W.................... Equation 3

make v the subject of the equation

v = √(2W/m)................. Equation 4

Given: W = 3.6×10⁻⁴ J, m = 2.3×10⁻⁴ kg

Substitute into equation 4

v = √[2×3.6×10⁻⁴ )/2.3×10⁻⁴]

v = 7.2/2.3

v = 3.13 m/s

Hence the flea's speed when it leaves the ground  = 3.13 m/s
