Andrei has a glass tank. First, he wants to put in some marbles, each of which has a volume of 0.04 liters. Then he wants to fil

l the tank with water until it's completely full. If he uses 50 marbles, he will have to add 33 liters of water.
What is the volume of the tank?

Andrei has exactly 20 liters of water. How many marbles does he need so the tank is full?

Answer:

a). Volume of Tank=35 liters

b). Number of marbles=375 marbles

Step-by-step explanation:

a).Volume of the Tank

For the tank to be full Andrei needs;

  • 50 marbles each with a volume of 0.04 liters

Total volume of marbles=50×0.04=2 liters

  • 33 liters of water

Total volume of water= 33 liters of water

The total volume of the tank=Total volume of marbles+Total volume of water=(33+2)=35 liters

b). How many marbles he needs when the tank is full.

Volume of Tank when full=Total volume of marbles+Total  volume of water.....equation 1

Total volume of water is known=20 liters

Total volume when tank is full=35 liters and

Total volume of marbles=Number of marbles×volume per marble

Where Number of marbles is unknown=N, and volume per marbles=0.04 liters

Total volume of marbles=(N×0.04)

Substituting in equation below;

Volume of Tank when full=(Total volume of marbles)+(Total  volume of water).....equation 1

35=(N×0.04)+(20)

(35-20)=(N×0.04)

Solving for N

(N×0.04)/0.04=15/0.04

N=375

N=Number of marbles=375 marbles

Margaret [11]

Answer:

336.7 yards away from the cabin....

Step-by-step explanation:

The angle 30.7° is also the angle of the upper interior angle of the triangle (near the cabin)

Use the tan function:

opposite = 200 yards

adjacent = x

tan(30.7°) = (opposite / adjacent)

tan(30.7°) = 200 yards/x

x * tan(30.7°) = 200 yards

x = 200 yards/ tan(30.7°)

x= 200/ 0.594

x = 336.7 yards.

336.7 yards away from the cabin....

Answer:

Correct option is (C).

Step-by-step explanation:

Because in figure,

°.°point B is fixed at plane.

.°.Center is B.

& °.° Image is enlargement.

.°. scale factor will be greater than 1

Now,

scale factor = A'B'/AB

= 24/6

= 3

So correct option is (C).

Using the diagram, find sin B. Express your answer as a decimal rounded to the nearest hundredth, such as .86 or 0.86.

Hi, thank you for posting your question here at Brainly.

This problem could be solved using the Law of Cosines, since we are given with the three sides. The equation goes,

b^2 = a^2 + c^2 - 2accosB. Substituting,

24^2 = 7^2 + 25^2 - 2(7)(25)cosB

Then B = 73.7 degrees. Therefore sinB or sin(73.7) = 0.96.

Which of these numbers are relatively prime to 51? Select all that apply. da) 84 Ob) 70 Oc) 62 0d) 30
iren2701 [21]

Answer:

  b) 70

  c) 62

Step-by-step explanation:

Numbers are relatively prime when they have no factors in common.

__

The factors of 51 are ...

  51 = 3×17

The factors of the other numbers are ...

  84 = 2²×3×7 . . . . . has a factor of 3 in common with 51

  70 = 2×5×7 . . . . . . no factors in common

  62 = 2×31 . . . . . . . no factors in common

  30 = 2×3×5 . . . . . has a factor of 3 in common with 51

The numbers 70 and 62 are relatively prime to 51.
