Answer: Since all sodium atoms have 11 protons, this one has 11 protons. This tells us that it also has 11 electrons. Since the mass number is 23, we know that the sum of protons and neutrons in the nucleus must equal 23.

So the answer is : Mass number = 23

Need help calculating atomic mass (see pohoto for more info)
polet [3.4K]

Answer:

28.1

Explanation:

Divide the percentage abundances by 100:

92.2% ÷ 100 = 0.922

4.7% ÷ 100 = 0.047

3.1% ÷ 100 = 0.031

multiply them by their corresponding mass number:

0.922×28 = 25.816

0.047×29 = 1.363

0.031×30 = 0.93

add them all together to get your final answer:

25.816 + 1.363 + 0.93 = 28.109

to one decimal place:

28.1

I hope that helps!!!

Winds and ocean currents are evidence for the process of regulating and stabilizing the climate patterns.

What are winds and ocean currents?

Ocean current is the flow or movement of water in a direction by gravity, wind, and difference in density of the water.

Wind currents pull water and create ocean currents. The current flow to westwards, which is called Coriolis effect.

Thus, Winds and ocean currents are evidence for the process of regulating and stabilizing the climate patterns.

Nitrogen gas is being held in a 14.3 L tank at a temperature of 62°C. What will the volume be when the temperature drops to 24°C
Mice21 [21]
I think the volume should be still 14.3L. In this question, the gas is being held in a tank. The tank has a constant volume. The gas in the tank has the property to fill the space. So when the temperature changes, the pressure changes too. But the volume doesn't change.
