Step-by-step explanation:

The pentagon is not a regular one. If it were, all the angles would be 72, In addition you have to assume that when m has been solved that the m is constant for all angles.

m + 5 + 2m + 3 +3m+2 + 4m + 1 + 5m+ 4 =360

15m + 15 = 360 Subtract 15 from both sides

15m = 360 - 15 Combine

15m = 345 Divide by 15

m = 23

Answer

m + 5 = 28

2m + 3 =49

3m + 2 = 71

4m + 1 = 93

5m + 4 = 119

The total does come to 360

Answer:

360°

Step-by-step explanation:

The exteriors angles of a pentagon are (m + 5)°, (2m + 3)°, (3m + 2)°, (4m + 1)° and (5m + 4)° respectively. Find the measure of each angle. Hints: The sum of all exterior angles of a polygon is 360°.

Y = -x<br><br> What is is the constant of proportionality
Stels [109]

Hey!

------------------------------------------------

-x = -1

This statement shows that y equals -1. Since it doesn't show a table or word problem then we already know that the constant of proportionality is -1. Or if you just have the expression just divide the number by 1. -x/1 = -1!

------------------------------------------------

Thus, -1 is the constant of proportionality!

brilliants [131]

Answer:

0.18% probability that they are all women

Step-by-step explanation:

A probability is the number of desired outcomes divided by the number of total outcomes.

The order in which the senators are chosen is not important, so the combinations formula is used to solve this question.

Combinations formula:

C_{n,x} is the number of different combinations of x objects from a set of n elements, given by the following formula.

C_{n,x} = \frac{n!}{x!(n-x)!}

Desired outcomes:

3 women, from a set of 13. So

D = C_{13,3} = \frac{13!}{3!(13 - 3)!} = 286

Total outcomes:

3 senators, from a set of 100. So

T = C_{100,3} = \frac{100!}{3!(100 - 3)!} = 161700

Probability;

p = \frac{D}{T} = \frac{286}{161700} = 0.0018

0.18% probability that they are all women
