Answer:

see below

Explanation:

according to newton's second law of motion,

F = MA

where F is the resultant force

m is the mass

a = acceleration

so suppose the mass of the bowling ball is 10 kg

and the mass of golf ball is 1 kg

and the force applied on both of them is 5 N

substitute the values in the formula

for the bowling ball

5 = 10 x a

a = 0.5 ms²

for the golf ball

5 = 1 x a

a = 5 ms²

so which accelerated more the golf ball right?

so last option is the answer

hope this helps,

please mark it brainliest if helpful

kondaur [170]

Ionic solutes are considered strong electrolytes. What does this mean for the conductivity of the solution?

A) Strong electrolytes dissolve and completely dissociate in water providing charged ions to conduct electricity.

B) Strong electrolytes dissolve and do not dissociate in water providing no charged ions to conduct electricity.

C) Being a strong electrolyte refers the type of bonding and has no bearing on conducting electricity.

D) Strong electrolytes do not dissolve in water and can not conduct electricity.

                                          ANSWER:

A) Strong electrolytes dissolve and completely dissociate in water providing charged ions to conduct electricity.

To reach its intended destination on time a cruise ship needs to travel north at 70 mph. However, it is travelling in the Gulf o
bogdanovich [222]

Answer:

speed is 81.03 mph

direction is N 3.58 W

Explanation:

given data

travel north = 70 mph

Stream current = 12 mph

direction = S 25° E

result due north = 70 mph

to find out

speed and direction

solution

we will get component of resultant that is

v cosθ  and v sinθ

so

( 12cos295 , 12 sin295 )    at ( 0, 70)

as that we can say

v sinθ + 12sin295 = 70      ....................1

v cosθ + 12 cos295  = 0     ......................2

so

vcosθ  = -5.0714

vsinθ = 80.8756

now by ratio

cosθ /sinθ  = -5.0714/ 80.8756

cot θ = -0.0627

θ = 93.58

so direction is N 3.58 W

and

we know

vcosθ  = - 12cos295

v = - 12cos295 / cos(93.58)

v = 81.03 mph

so speed is 81.03 mph

How to get displacement
andrew-mc [135]
Displacement is how much of a liquid (typically water for simplicity in the metric system) is pushed aside when another object is completely submerged. For example, when a 100mL of water has a block placed into it, and rises to 150mL, the block has displaced the water.

Osmium (os) is the densest element known (density = 22.57 g/cm3). Calculate the mass in pounds and in kilograms of an os sphere
Rufina [12.5K]

Answer:

    Mass in kg = 39.88

    Mass in pounds = 87.92

Explanation:

   We have the expression for Density, ρ = Mass / Volume, in this case density is given and we need to find mass and volume.

   Volume of a sphere, we have the expression V = \frac{4}{3} \pi r^3, where r is the radius of sphere.

   Radius of sphere, r = Half of diameter = 15/2 = 7.5 cm

   So V = \frac{4}{3}* \pi* 7.5^3 = 1767.15 cm^3

  Mass = Volume *  Density = 1767.15*22.57 = 39884.49 g

    Mass in kg = 39884.49/1000 = 39.88 kg

    Mass in pounds = 39.88*2.205 = 87.92 lb
