It is a slough off piece of dead tissue that actually casts off typically from the surface of the skin. C.is the best answer because if she was at an outpatient program she could slip up. ( that rules out B.) plus at an outpatient program that only offers support groups she could just bail, but if she has to attend monthly check-ins after she returns to her current living situation ( which we don't actually know if it's bad or not) then she's more likely not to start re- using. she can't live with her parents because they said they wouldn't see her till a year after she was clean. ( that eliminates D.)
