When someone starts a car, why are you able to hear the engine while it is running?

It’s not because the steering is better or the brakes are on the right sensitivity. It’s because for some reason, you don’t hear anything else but the engine running. Nothing but the purr of the engine in idle or the roar when you accelerate. No clickety clanks or hard, metal-on-metal noise that makes you feel like your car will get disassembled anytime soon.

You filled a balloon that has a volume of 45 cm3 with helium gas. What is the volume of the helium gas?
dangina [55]

Answer:

The volume of the helium gas is 45 cm³.

Explanation:

The volume of the helium gas can be determined from kinetic theory of gases, which states that gas molecules do not have a fixed volume, rather they assume the volume of their container.

Therefore, if the volume of the balloon is 45 cm³, which is also the container of the helium gas, then the volume of the helium gas is 45 cm³.

Answer:

a basic process control system is necessary as long as the work by the personnel in charge is efficient, this reduces by 90% the errors or failures to calculate the system to operate

Explanation:

Production staff human error

Another reason why a breakdown can occur is due to an error of the production personnel. This error, in turn, can originate from:

Error of interpretation of an indicator during the normal operation of the equipment, which causes the operator or driver of the installation to make the wrong decision

Incorrect performance in the event of a machine failure. For example, introducing water into a hot boiler in which water has been lost visually; as it is not known how much water is inside, it may be empty and hot, so when water is introduced it will produce instant vaporization, with the consequent increase in pressure that can even cause the boiler to explode.

Physical factors of the operator: this may not be in perfect condition to carry out his work, due to dizziness, sleep, fatigue accumulated by long working hours, illness, etc.

Psychological factors, such as demotivation, problems external to work, etc., greatly influence the proliferation of operational errors

Lack of clear systematic instructions, such as procedures, technical instructions, etc., or poor implementation of these  Lack of training

A team member who has been a good worker for many years has recently been doing poor work. You suspect that he may be tired of h
ohaa [14]

Answer:

You must follow the steps below to deal with employees who have poor performance. I hope that you will be able to handle all the issues after reading this answer.

Explanation:

Be specific with facts in hand

It is important to confront your employees about their respective actions. But to convince them about their withdrawal from lack of interest, it is imperative to have a consistent record at hand as well. For example, if the employee has been constantly delayed for a period of time, specify the precise details about the frequency and intensity of absenteeism. Be sure not to overdo your statements or use hard phrases to reduce employee self-esteem. Just be direct and precise. Reiterate the guidelines accordingly.

Consider the needs of your employees

Poor performance is not always the result of an employee's carelessness. There can be multiple genuine reasons for lack of performance and it can vary from person to person. The first is to understand the reason and judge whether they are genuine or not. Even if they aren't, don't let the other person know. Focus on your concerns and provide solutions accordingly. For example, if your employees cannot focus on their work due to some personal stress, make appointments for the counseling sessions and make sure they can get back on track.

Focus on feedback

Everyone handles comments differently. Although it is always recommended to be direct and clear in your communication, there may be certain strategies you can adopt to communicate your comments effectively. If your employee has difficulties in achieving his goals, work with him and provide him with all the necessary help to improve his performance. The best way is to provide weekly or monthly comments to your employees, so they know what they must do to achieve their goals.

Provide Performance Support Technology

When faced with existing employees who do not meet expectations, it is a smart decision to offer them training (and / or training) and different resources to help them improve. As an example, you can combine a low-performance worker with someone to act as a mentor or offer you a manual with the procedures to follow. In addition, there are performance improvement tools: WalkMe is a very valuable technology that can help a worker be more efficient and precise, within the workflow (and not take them away from their daily tasks).

Offer rewards and recognition

Whenever you see that your employees have poor performance, it is always better to adopt a carrot and stick approach for instant and consistent improvement. It is a combination of rewards and punishments that you can induce for the best and worst weekly or monthly performance. This has proven to be one of the best ways to combat low performance problems in companies of all kinds for centuries.

Facing low-performance workers for the first time may not be too encouraging for managers as well, but having an adequate system to deal with them is essential, especially during the performance of change management. It is always better to deal with such situations, instead of ignoring them, to maintain the consistency of productivity and profitability in the business.

Consider a step pn junction made of GaAs at T = 300 K. At zero bias, only 20% of the total depletion region width is in the p-si
Nat2105 [25]

Answer:

0.31 μm

Explanation:

this question wants us to Determine the depletion region width, xn, in the n-side in unit of μm. using the information below.

density in the p-side = 5.68x10^16

density in the n-side = 1.42x10^16

\sqrt{\frac{2*12.7*8.85E-10}{1.6E-14}(\frac{1}{5.68E16}+\frac{1}{1.42E16} )(1.2)  }

= √(1.42x10⁵)(1.76056335x10⁻¹⁷ + 7.042253521x10⁻¹⁷)(1.2)

= √150.74x10⁻¹¹

= 3.882x10⁻⁵

approximately 0.39μm

xn = 0.39 x 0.8

= 0.31μm

0.31 um is the depletion region width. thank you!

Describe the make-up of an internal combustion engine.<br> Pls answer quickly.
Whitepunk [10]

Answer:

The engine consists of a fixed cylinder and a moving piston. The expanding combustion gases push the piston, which in turn rotates the crankshaft. Ultimately, through a system of gears in the power-train, this motion drives the vehicle's wheels.
