It is the attitude of people that prevents them from falling into apathy, despair or depression when faced with a difficulty.

Optimistic people believe that failure is due to factors that can be changed with a different approach, so that next time success comes. In other words, they see the obstacle as something that can be corrected and they believe that the obstacle is not due to a personal disadvantage from which they cannot escape.
